((She's missing her sister's ceremony, but you can rush back into camp with urgent news just as it is ending.))


Lightstar jumped up to the high rock and looked over her clan.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join under high rock for a clan meeting." She stood just as proud as the day she had become leader.

"Shinepaw has served as a loyal, yet hyper apprentice for many months, and I believe it is time for her to become a warrior." She smiled at her deputy's sister. "Shinepaw, will you please join me?"

Fireblaze frowned, "Nothing much. Bumblethorn and Mousetail have gone missing, they've probably gone out hunting together. Neither of them like camp very much. It is odd though, that I haven't seen them since yesterday. It's not like them to stay out all night." He gazed into the distance, eyes clouding with worry. "Sorry." He mumbled and lied down next to Foxwing and began grooming her coat.

"It's okay, you're obviously worried about them, thats cool," she meowed. Foxwing tensed when he began grooming her, but soon relaxed, he's so gentle she thought lovingly. Foxwing rested her head on the moss, her ears rubbing against Fireblaze's fur. She could hear his heartbeat.

LIghtstar smiled, "Don't worry, I'll be alive for many moons to come."

"Well, Bumblethorn's dead," Fireblaze murmured softly, "And Mousetail's left for ForestClan. Forever. If they accept her, that is. But I'm here to stay, don't worry."

[snowy.]

"Good." Swallowtail smiled. "You're a great leader, Lightstar, don't forget that."

"I'll try." Lightstar smiled at her deputy weakly, "Now go get some sleep. Make sure you organize a dawn patrol when you wake up. Look on the FOrestClan border for any signs of Mousetail."

Cottonfur was dreaming. She was curled up, happy and warm by the fireplace in her twoleg nest. She purred loudly as her master softly stroked her long, silky fur. For once, she was happy and well. Suddenly, the nice warmth grew to a blazing heat. Cottonfur opened her eyes to see a fire circled around her. She ran, but couldn't escape or find her master. The she-cat suddenly shot up out of her nest, nearly yowling out in fear. She stood up and stretched, but it didn't help. Trying to calm herself down, Cottonfur laid down again, reluctantly falling asleep yet again.

Foxwing brushed licked his ear. "Good, you better stay," she meowed softly, laying her head down on the moss to sleep.

((I have to get this over with, the anxiety is KILLING me.))

"Adderclaw," Dewwhisker called out to her son, "Would you go hunting with me?" Adderclaw streched and padded out of camp behind his mother, and out into the forest.
A splitting noise echoed through the trees.
"Mom," Adderclaw froze, "What was that?" A series of identical noises began getting louder and louder. Dewwhisker looked up and froze in terror.
"The...tree..." She whispered.
"What?" Adderclaw meowed and looked up. He scrambled to his paws to run, but it was too late.

The tree crushed them in a millisecond, and StarClan had new warriors to welcome.

"What was that?" Larkwing mumbled. She stepped into the trees and looked around for any signs of fallen trees. One of the larger oaks had collapsed straight ahead. What's that on the tree? She padded forward. Her mother's tail and clumps of her brothers fur were sticking out from under the trunk.

"No..." She yowled, "NO!" She let an ear-splitting yowl out and into the skys above her, where her family was sure to hear it.
She nuzzled her head into the tree trunk and tried with all of her energy to move it aside. It wouldn't budge. "No!" She cried, "NO!" She collapsed to the ground, shaking violently, letting her sadness drip onto the forest floor as the sun was setting around her.

Foxwing suddenly looked up again.
"Bumblethorn died?! I-I-I'm so sorry, and I'm really sorry about Mousetail, she shouldn't have left.." Foxwing meowed awkwardly, starting to grow red.

((Okay, I may have gotten the Genders mixed up, sorry if I did...))

((They're both girls, you're good.))

"It's okay." Fireblaze looked into Foxwing's eyes. "At least I still have one cat very close and special to me. And it's not my mother." He looked up into the sky, hoping he didn't accidentally reveal his crush on Foxwing to her before their relationship could blossom. He didn't want to scare her off!

When the fallen StarClan Warrior had gotten to SmokeClan, he found himself in a mud-brown coat with big round yellow eyes. Mudcoat leaped foward feeling energy he had never felt before, but then his mind turned back towards his mission, finding Lightstar. Mudcoat caught a faint wiff of the leader's scent, and decided to trail it.

Lightstar looked up.
Redmask? No, it wasn't possible. She layed her head back down on the moss. It's time... She payed her respects to the silent camp and set out for...wherever. If she didn't have any family around, she wouldn't be able to lose any.
It made sense.
The forest was empty, no one was around. She couldn't hear any prey. Weird.
They've cleared the way for her.

Mudcoat caught Lightstar's scent, "Lightstar?!" The chocolate tom called out, his heart went wild in his chest, remember your Mudcoat, not Redmask. . . "Is anyone there?" He called out wandering closer.

"Yes," Lightstar frowned, the scent of Redmask was closer. But he wasn't there! "Who's there?"

"Mudcoat." The tom responded stepping into the leader's line of vision, "Are you coming back to camp?" Mudcoat asked his tone had a hint of worry in it.

"No," Lightstar felt a sense of comfort from this strange cat. "Never. I- I can't. Are you from another clan? How do you know my name?"

Mudcoat chuckled at her bewilderment, "Everyone knows your name Lightstar. And I'm not in any clan. Please come back to SmokeClan." The mysterious brown tom said softly.

"No!" Lightstar growlede, "I don't need some bossy furball telling me what to do! I'll go where I want to go. I don't need some loner to tell me what to do. I've lost so much, I don't need to lose my dignity. Power's not worth the death of my family."

Mudcoat gave an indignate snort,"Oh Lightstar." He sighed, shaking his head and closing his yellow eyes. "Please come back." Now this time not only was Mudcoat begging, but now so was Redmask. He wanted her to come back.

"I can't go back." Lightstar frowned, "I'm a bad luck charm. First Redmak, then Bumblethorn, then Mousetail, then my sister, Dewwhisker, and her son. Adderclaw. I loved them all. Especially Redmask. He was the light of my life until the badger attack. It was...horrible. But you wouldn't know. You're barely a warrior!"
