((ok. That's fine. This is where we can meet one of my kittypets.brb))
Steadyleaf was instructionint the apprentices when a rustle in the bushes alerted him.

Foxpaw heard a sound. "What's that?" she hissed.

Joe slinked out of the bushes, unaware that three Clan cats were watching him.

[foxkit]

"It's a cat!" Foxpaw meowed, surprised.

Joe heard the small cat's mew and dashed away. ((chase me))

[foxkit]

((OK!))

"The intruder is getting away!" Foxpaw yowled and ran after him.

The little one was fast, maybe too fast. She soon lunged and Joe toppled over, lying with his back to the ground. His belly was exposed, making him an easy target for the bigger tortishell cat.

((What should Foxpaw do? Fight him?))

"Not during leaf-bare. Then it's basically frozen. But from newleaf to leaffall it is." she loved the feeling of warm grass, and started to softly purr.

"Well," she started. "I remembered why the SmokeClan scent smelled familiar. It was in the middle of the night and my mother had 4 tiny kits, 2 of who died: My 2 other sisters, Royalkit and Owlkit. Me, at the time was Wolfkit, and my brother, Ghostkit, were left with my mother. Mother was a beautiful she-cat. Her warrior name was Tanpelt. My brother got sick by greencough that had spread around the camp almost immediatly after we were born. Although, one day, SmokeClan came into our borders and started a fight over lost prey. I was only less than 2 moons old when one of the SmokeClan warriors came into the nursery and killed my brother. They took me and said something like 'These were the only two kits in the nursery, and the other one was sick and wouldn't last the night.' As the fight continued, I was stolen and taken to SmokeClan territory. My mother was the only cat that saw us leaving and hurried into the SmokeClan camp to stop them from taking me, and she was caught and kept prisoner; like me. Three moons later, in the night, she escaped and forgot that I was in SmokeClan territory too. She went absolutly crazy while kept prisoner and thought that my two sisters and brother were still alive and we were all safe at home; in ForestClan. But I was left there after she snuck away. It was 2 more moons until I was able to sneak away. Everyone was on hunting patrol exept the leader and 3 warriors. I went back to ForestClan camp and one of the warriors came up to me and told me my mother was dead, and that she remembered that I was still in SmokeClan territory when she died. But the gleam in the warrior's eyes made her think that he was lying. 4 moons later, I was out by myself hunting for the elders. I had been apprenticed and my mentor told me to go hunt for fat mice. I brought back one, although there was a familiar scent in the forest that afternoon. It was the flowered scent of my mother and another smell of kittypet and twolegs! I thought my mother was being kept prisoner in the twoleg nest and I had to find her! But I still havn't found any time to go and look. That is why SmokeClan smelled so familiar back there! Because I spent almost 6 moons of my short life with them!" By the time Wolfsoul was done, salty water was running down her face. For her sisters & brother, for herself, and most of all, for her mother that she had barely ever seen in her life.
