"Oh, well, thanks anyway." Flower said, her tail drooping in disapointment. Then, she had an idea of what to do. "Is there anyway I can help the clan some? Maybe try to hunt or something. I can ignore the wound." She said excitedly to Poppytail. If Poppytail let her go, she could find out where Silentstar went herself, and maybe even be able to find a dead animal to bring back to the clan in return for their kindness to her.

"Okay." Flower said trying to hold in her disapointment. How was she going to sneak away from Poppytail? She would notice. If not, Flower would be caught a minute later because Poppytail would be able to sniff her out. What if Mosspaw said no? There were a million what-ifs Flower realized. How could she have been dumb enough to think a warrior like Poppytail would let her try to hunt alone when A: She didn't know how to hunt and B: She was hurt.
