Coalfire couldn't belive it. He loved moonflower, but she didn't love him. It felt like part of his heart was gone.

Duskstripe pulled the she-cat off the edge of the cliff. "Why did you go by the cliffs? Everyone knows they're the most dangerous area in the forest!" Duskstripe said after the cat seemed ready to talk.

" I just came here to check out the borders but when I was looking through the border the ground under me just broke off and I fell" Scarstreak said to the tom. " Who are you? where do you come from??" she asked the tom, he smelt of CliffClan.

For some reason Scarstreak felt a starnge feeling in her, that strange feeling was love. She was in love with Duskstripe! Suddenly her fur began to burn up under it she felt so nervous around him. " Thank you for saving me I would of been crowfood if I had fallen" she said to Duskstripe kindly.

Duskstripe felt something when he looked at Scarstreak. Then it hit him. I'm falling in love with her, he thought. He shook himself and said, "I would have done it for any cat. I always help a cat in danger."
