Hawkpath lept up in the air, her strong leg muscles propelling her to an incredible height in the air. Her jaws snapped shut, closing around the wing of a large crow. "Look!" she meowed through black feathers, holding her catch triumphantly in her mouth.
Graystorm, turned, his focus had been on a smaller bird, but it had flown away moments ago. He saw the crow that Hawkpath was holding, and meowed, "Good catch."
Hawkpath felt ignored. Graystorm hadn't been watching! This always happened. She did great things when he was around, but he never notices her!

Lightpool giggled. She felt a strong emotional pull towards the great tom already and was thinking about him as a mate. "Hello," she said sweetly, "How are you doing, Redmask? And oh right, I meant to ask you, where do i build my nest?" Hopefully the only room left is next to him, she thought.
