NightClan RP (Book 3!)

"I, Goldenstar, leader of NightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Silverpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

[Shadow Is In Love (With Dai)]

"I do," Silverpaw said proudly.

[Golden]

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Silverpaw, from this moment you will be known as Silverwing. StarClan honors your loyalty and your courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of NightClan!"

[Lawl[iet]]

"Silverwing! Silverwing!"

[shimmerpaw]

"Slverwing! Silverwing!" Dawnflame chanted with the others.

[Golden]

"Silverwing! Silverwing! Silverwing!" Goldenstar yowled and jumped to the ground, giving her ruffled fur a few licks to smooth it down.

Dawnflame smiled at the new Warrior. She watched the cat and remembered when she became a Warrior.

Silverwing smiled and padded toward Dawnflame. "Hi Dawnflame," he said excitedly.

[shimmerpaw]

"Congrats," she purred, "You've earned it."

"I can't believe I'm finally a warrior," he said. "Do you want to go on a patrol together?" Silverwing asked nervously.

[shimmerpaw]

"Maybe tomorrow," she told him, "Don't you have to do your silent vigil tonight?" she asked.

[do they still do that? i haven't read all the books! xD]

"Oh, yeah, almost forgot about that," Silverwing said nervously, then went to sit vigil.

[shimmerpaw]

"But we can tomorrow!" she promised smiling.

[Golden]

Once Goldenstar knew that Silverwing had gone to do his vigil, she arched her back, stretching, and trotted off into her den. The moss in the nest was fresh and she began to chomp on a mouse that Goldenstar had brought into the den with her. It was almost moonhigh, usually she stayed up later than this. But she felt that she needed to sleep. Not because she was tired, but for another reason that the ginger she-cat didn't know. Goldenstar curled up into a tight ball, tall over her nose. She wasn't able to see much through the lichen and moss that sheltered her den, but the stars were clear that night and she could make them out, through the plants. Her eyes began to close and she warily blinked a few times before drifting off into a deep sleep. At first she wasn't disturbed by dreams, but as she lay there, breathing slowly, she heard a yowl and opened her eyes. But Goldenstar didn't see the bushes outside her den or anything of the familiar camp she lived in. She was in a Twoleg nest. At least, it seemed like a nest. Tall walls, a roof where she wanted to see the sky, it was so horrible. It reminded her of when she had gone to the pound to get other NightClan cats out. She had lost some fur off of her paw and the bottoms of her pads had been burnt. Her throat had hurt for days because of the smoke, but she hadn't shown the pain she was in. The leader heard the cry again and this time it sounded more familiar. More like a howl. "A silver trap on a w...," the voice had been cut off by another sound. The sound of metal clashing together. Goldenstar tried to run, a Twoleg was coming towards her. But her paws slipped and she heard another howl of fear. Then she opened her eyes. Now Goldenstar saw the walls of her den and she knew that she was back in NightClan territory. But the howling was stuck in her mind. She longed to go down to the river and stare at the sky, closing her eyes as the stars shown their silver light on her golden fur, making it look like Leaffall's yellow and orange leaves. But if she did then she would be breaking her own rule, and what kind of leader would do that? A bad one. Goldenstar had promised herself and StarClan that she wouldn't be a bad leader to NightClan. Had she kept her promise? If Stripefur was there he would have pushed his nose into her fur and told her that she was a great leader. But he was dead. In StarClan. And he was a truthful cat, but Goldenstar didn't know if she could believe him on that. She had loved him and always would. Just like he would always love her. Whenever Goldenstar saw two cats together who loved each other she had to look away. It hurt so much. It was worse than the burns or anything she had witnessed. For this was in invisible wound that had been engraved into her heart.
Goldenstar hadn't realized that she had almost drifted off to sleep until her eyes opened again. She sighed silently. Goldenstar knew that she had to think about her dream. Had it been a sign from StarClan? But no warriors had been taken by Twolegs. And cats didn't howl. What animals howl? Wolves. It clicked. Had Silvertooth been taken by Twolegs? Had they trapped her?

((Aww, that dream was so sad!))

The rope forcing Silvertooth to look upwards and towards the hard roof of the Nofur den was cutting off her breating. She could still suck in some air, but not enough to stay concious for long. Is this what all Nofur's do to animals like me? It's...better this way, I guess. The wolf pup thought to herself before losing conciousness.

((I hope everything in it was okay with you! What is NightClan going to do to help Silvertooth? I'm asking this because I am fine if some cats go to help her, but I don't want it to be where cats sneak off and then return and expect praise.. I'd like it to be more of a known thing. I know it'll be a while until Goldenstar dies but I was hoping to have her do something different before she does. It doesn't have to be going on a quest, you might want Wolfsoul to go and save Silvertooth since she's your other character. I'd just come up with something else for Goldenstar. And because of the new rules, two warriors would probably have to go. So do you have any ideas of what you want?))

At dawn, Goldenstar shakily walked out of her den. She went to see Wolfheart for two reasons. The ginger she-cat needed to know about Earthpaw, and she really needed some poppy seed or other herb to calm her down. The dream had been awful, and she still felt as though she was trapped with the awful Twolegs.

((Well, you could call Wolfie into your den and Golden could tell her about the dream; I could just wait until I do anything else with Silvertooth; or I could just have her get killed. Although, I did have an idea that I could try out. And what do you mean when you say "I was hoping to have her do something different"? I'm just wondering what kind of different.))

((Like, Firestar went on a quest for SkyClan. Leopard, Black, Tall, and Firestar brought the Clans to their new home. They had something different to do then most leaders. But it wouldn't be a huge thing, like theirs. Does that make sense? Whatever Silvertooth does, gets killed, escapes, or lives, is up to you. But if you want her to be rescued, I'll be happy to talk about that.))
