Ghostkit would not be afraid. He swallowed his fear and stood still, waiting for the fox's killing blow. All his hardships wold be over soon. ((unless someone saves him *hint hint*))

Poppytail tried to pull Wolfsoul back to the camp. She was very worried about her. Then another scent caught her nostrils. Fox!

Goldenheart smelled it too, but was bringing Wolfsoul to camp so she couldn't go fight the fox. "Poppytail! Fox!" she said through her teeth.

Poppytail finally got Wolfsoul to the medicine cats den. She knew that she would be safe with Mossleaf. She ran back toward he fox scent. Then she saw that inbetween two foxes stood Ghostkit.Poppytail threw herself at one of the foxes.She clawd it's flank. It snapped at her trying to get her off. She scratched it's nose and bit it's heels. That fox ran away bleeding from some very bad wounds. Then Poppytail launched herself at the second fox. This one was stronger and threw her off. She tried again clawing it feircely. Firey pain shot through her. She fought even more fiercely.

A starry cat was coming toward her. She figured as soon as she talked to the cat and it welcomed her into StarClan, there would be no turning back. She tried to run away from the cat, but she couldn't because of the pull by whoever was still back in the forest. "Please, whoever is dragging me, stop so I can run." Wolfsoul said desperatly. At that moment, whoever was dragging her...let go! It was like that somebody could read her thoughts. 'Am I controlling their body?' Wolfsoul thought. The cat was coming closer, so she had no time to think. She ran as fast as her legs would take her. It almost felt as if she was flying. But the other cat was even faster. It caught up with her and said "Whoever disobays StarClan will feel our wrath!" At that moment, the soft, white clouds turned blood red and the brown and white tom that was running aside her turned a fierce color of red and white, and grew in a matter of heartbeats. He was as large as the Great Sycamore! "Help me, whoever is dragging me, help me! I don't want to die without even two moons in NightClan! Please, please help!"

((Oh, I'm already in the med. cat's den? Pretend I'm not, because someone was supposed to be dragging me! Sorry...is that okay?))

Poppytail fought off the second fox and took Ghostkit back to the nursery. She went to check on Wolfsoul. She dragged her over to a nest and licked her.

The giant cat raised it's large paw and slashed it at Wolfsoul. Before it hit her, she wondered if she would get hurt, or it would pass right through her. So she stayed there...big mistake! Blood ran down her left hind leg as one very large claw slashed right through her fur and skin like tree bark. She tried to run, but her leg hurt too much. At that moment, she wondered if the pain and large gash would follow her back to the forest if she survived.

Goldenheart didn't know what to do! Something had made her let go, maybe Wolfsoul had said so, but now she felt like something was going on, something she shouldn't have a part in.

[silverstar]

Silverstar stared sadly down at the cats who lived in the forest below. She was watching NightClan, the Clan she used to be leader of. What will happen to them? she wondered. A battle is coming, as great as the tallest oak...

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Please, grab back on to me and pull as fast as you can!" Wolfsoul said. Then she felt sharp teeth grab her wound, and although it hurt, she was glad she was getting away from the giant cat! "Find a way to revive me! Throw me in the river, bite me, anything, PLEASE! Maybe the shock will wake me up!" She yowled to whoever was pulling her.

Goldenheart wouldn't bite her, but brought her to the river and placed her body in a shallow part. "Please wake up!"

[~*WOLFIE*~]

The red and white cat turned into a pelt of fire. Then, out of nowhere, water drowned StarClan and put out the fire tom. It made the cat back to normal, but he was still angry, and the shock from the piercing cold water still didn't wake Wolfsoul up. StarClan's boldness was still getting clearer and so were the starry cats. She thought quickly, then she had it! "Put my face in the water for a few heart beats!" At first the cat still in the forest hesitated. It must of been Goldenheart! Only she wouldn't do that, but Wolfsoul took command of her body. "Do it...NOW!" And at that second, she woke up and couldn't breathe. She knew Goldenheart had done it. It was like Wolfsoul was a ghost possessing her body. She wiggled and the she-cat let her breathe. When Wolfsoul knew that she was back in the forest, her leg was on fire, she knew that her leg had been damaged by the tom in StarClan, but when she opened her icy blue eyes, there was nothing there on her hind leg. Just the sting. She looked up at Goldenheart. "Was I...dead?" she mewed very quietly.

[Golden]

"No, I don't think so." Goldenheart whispered, still in shock. "StarClan can't make a cat come back to life, unless they are reincarnated. Was StarClan telling you something?"

[~*WOLFIE*~]

Wolfsoul looked up at her, still in shock also. "A tom was coming over to me, probabaly to welcome me into StarClan, but I didn't want to leave the forest. So I ran away, but only after you let go. Then the tom got mad at me and turned blood red and as tall a the Great Sycamore! It slashed me on my left hind leg, which burns like crazy, but nothing is there. I couldn't run after that, but I told you to grab onto me and run, and then, I was running again. And when I begged for you to put me into water, you did. Then I begged you even harder, yelling at you to push my head underwater. You hesitated, but then did it. Oh, Goldenheart, what does this mean. StarClan is now very angry at me. And will possibly do anything to either kill me, or make me live forever. Maybe they will never want a cat like me to join a clan like their's." Wolfsoul said all this so quickly that tears were streaming down her face by the time she was done. "I'm a freak of nature and will never be accepted into StarClan no matter how high my ranking from warrior to deputy to leader gets!" At that moment, Wolfsoul felt like running, running away to somewhere that no one would ever find her. But when she tried to stand up, all she felt was the pain in her hind leg. "Do you see anything on my left hind leg?" she asked desperatly, hoping it was a wound that she could see so Mossleaf could heal it. "If this happened to me, do you think I am destined to be a medicine cat?"

"No, I didn't. But I do think that StarClan accepts you as a Clan cat! I have heard some cats talking about sign from StarClan. Maybe they were warning you about the same thing? StarClan wouldn't turn on cats like that." she soothed.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

Even the kind words of Goldneheart couldn't help. Wolfsoul did belive that StarClan didn't want her as a clan cat. "Oh, if StarClan doesn't want me as a clan cat, where will I go? I can't go back to ForestClan or SmokeClan. And I can't stand the scent of CliffClan! Living as a rouge or a loner wouldn't be too bad I guess, but I wouldn't want to live by myself, even if I do like it." She started to lick her wound, only visible to her, but it didn't help at all. She put her head down, hoping that this was all a nightmare and she was really still a kit. With her mother licking her soft warm fur. "Why is StarClan tortuing me? Because of them, I have nothing to live for. Does nobody want me alive?" She said to herself. "Goldenheart, look at me. Look at me strait in the eyes! Tell me one cat that want's me alive." She said in a demanding tone. "I bet not even my mother wants me alive. Although, she probabally thinks that I'm already dead." She added to herself.

Burningsoul sat in her den with all three of her kits. She had almost lost Ghostkit again and never wanted anything like that to happen again. Stonekit and Dawnkit sleped soundly but Ghostkit was awake. His gray eyes staring at the cave wall. She decided this would be a good time to talk to him. "I love you so much and you know I couldn't bear to lose you." he nodded half heartedly. "No i really couldn't. You have a brother in Smokeclan. I lost 3 of his litter mates and couldn't bear any more deaths. I really truely love you." ((he will be a normal kit for a while until burningsoul dies in the battle. LOLZ Wolfsoul and I are SOUL SISTERS!))
