Bruce padded into Nightclan camp. The badger was right behind him. He was going to make these cats sorry.

Heatfang was heading out of camp to do a little hunting, when he saw a badger charging toward him, ready to trample him like a bug.

Mosspaw ran to the nursery and knew that Burningsoul's kits were coming. "It's OK Burningsoul." Mosspaw knew that when the last kit was born Burningsoul would die.

Silentstar rushed into the den. She saw a badger over Burningsoul.

Heatfang charged at the badger, claws slashing its pelt. He then saw Petalfall charge at the badger, only to be blown away by the badgers huge paws.

Silentstar leaped onto the badger. She'd never let go, never! She refused to lose any more cats. The badger shook her off and threw her across the den slamming her into a wall. She blacked out.

Three kits had been born. She saw the badger crashing into the nursery. She calmly called Heatfang. "I need to talk to you. The kits names are Moonkit,Steadykit, and Nightkit Make sure they get good homes. Tell my mom Echosong I love her and I love you so much." The Badger crashed through it delivered a deadly blow and evrything went spining. She could feel herself shinking. She saw her dead bady and she knew she was a kit.
