"Hello Earthsong and Rainkit." Moonfur mewed to the new members of StarClan. "You will now watch over the living from StarClan."

"Thank you, Moonfur." Meowed Earthsong quietly, giving her tiny kit a gentle lick.

((I'll have Goldenstar come soon. ))

"I'm sorry that you two came to StarClan so young." Moonfur meowed, mostly to Rainkit.

Earthsong had tears in her eyes as she watched Thunderkit. She hoped that one day the kit would meet the SmokeClan warrior who fathered Earthsong's kits.

Goldenstar's spirit left her body, floating slowly up to StarClan. She had seen these StarClan cats so many times, but never like this. Now she was joining the cats among the stars, watching NightClan who lived in the forest below. She felt herself stop moving and looked up. Like she had predicted, many cats of StarClan were around her, including Stripefur, Nightstar, and Stonestar. Stripefur wanted to run to his mate, but he stayed put. "Welcome to StarClan, Goldenstar." Many voices sounded like one, or one voice sounded like many when they said this. The golden she-cat had never heard anything like it. Nightstar stepped forward. "It is your time to watch over your Clan from StarClan." She meowed, her beautiful voice cutting through the silence. Stripefur and Stonestar nodded and emotion filled the striped cat's green eyes. Goldenstar stood up and Stripefur came over as the other cats dispersed.
"I missed you," he murmured.
"I missed you too." She whispered, her amber eyes crying for what she had left, but hopeful for the future and full of love for Stripefur and NightClan.


((I hope no one minds that I played Stonestar and Nightstar, the first two NightClan leaders. I never try to make them say much.))

"Hello Goldenstar." Moonfur said as she padded up to the past leader. "Welcome to StarClan." The elder padded up further to the golden she-cat and whispered in her ear, "Thank you for trying to save my body, but my time had just come, as well as yours has." She pointed her nose to where she could see NightClan clearly. "NightClan will be in good paws with Wolfsoul as leader. I know my daughter, and she'll make the right choices. Besides," Moonfur turned toward Goldenstar's beautiful face. "she's learned from the best." She smiled and then kept looking below her.

[Golden]

"Thank you, Moonfur." Goldenstar appreciated the welcome. When Moonfur mentioned that her time, and Goldenstar's, had come, the golden she-cat nodded slowly. Goldenstar hadn't died of old age, she was a fairly young cat. Full grown, an adult, but just around 54 moons. Her time had come, she knew, and she was ready to watch over her Clan from Silverpelt. She looked where the StarClan cat was pointing. Right there she could clearly see NightClan. Goldenstar agreed that Wolfsoul would be a great leader and purred. She was so sure that NightClan would prosper.

"Hello Goldenstar," Steadyleaf meowed, padding up to the former NightClan leader. "Welcome to StarClan."

Crowleaf opened his eyes. He was now in StarClan, a place he had always dreamed of as a kittypet. He was no longer bloody and wounded; his fur shone like stars.

Jetclaw gasped. "Goldenstar!" he meowed. "Who did this to you? What happened?"

Moonfur turned around to face Jetclaw. "I was watching and wished that I could have done something." She looked back toward the living members of NightClan. "It was the one called Twilight."

[Lawl[iet]]

"Twilight," Jetclaw hissed. "He was my most trusted follower. He now prowls the Dark Forest."

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Yes Jetclaw, but it is over now and Goldenstar is in StarClan." Moonfur mewed calmly. She watched her daughter slump in the NightClan leader's den. "Wolfsoul will be a good leader, I'm sure of it."

"I've sent a message to NightClan't medicine cat apprentice through the stars. Hopefully, she'll know what it means." Jetclaw meowed.

"Thank you, Steadyleaf. Yes, after I killed Twilight I died frm the wounds she gave me." Goldenstar meowed as she remembered the bloody battle. "She will. I will be back soon, I have something I must do." Goldenstar told Moonfur and then floated down from StarClan to a dangerous forest. Soon she saw Mystery, her daughter. She talked to her for a while, telling her of her destiny and what she must do. Goldenstar then sadly left and went back to the sky where Stripefur was waiting. She pushed her head into her mate's fur as he comforted her. It was hard for Goldenstar to leave Mystery again after being apart for so long.
