Gorsebranch squinted his eyes and barred his teeth, tears streaming down his face. "First Thrushstripe and that rouge, and now Dad and a trap! I wouldn't be surprised any of our family were killed next!" The black and white tom was angry, and his sadness was mixed in with it. He really didn't mean anything he said, it was just his anger taking over him.

"But you never know..." Ghostmask hissed softly.

Darkfeather watched across the clearing, eyes narrowed with interest as Brownfur and Foxpaw treated Ghostmask's wounds. The warrior looked badly injured- and Gorsebranch was extremely upset. The dark cat watched with a detached air, paws neatly together and tail wrapping around to cover them. Warriors had to learn to watch these things happen. They couldn't be crushed by the devastation that surrounded them every day. He sighed and looked back out the camp exit, relying on sight now that his nose was clogged with the scent of blood.

Mistycloud looked across the clearing and saw a handsome tom laying in a patch of sun. She decided to introduce herself. She padded across the clearing and sat down next to him.
"I don't think we've met. I'm Mistycloud. Foxpaw and Hollypaw are my kits."

The warrior looked up at Mistycloud, nodded to her and pushed himself up to his paws.
"Darkfeather," he introduced himself. "I've seen your kits around camp. Hollypaw is growing into a fine warrior, and Brownfur seems to be happy with Foxpaw," he said politely, and drifted back into silence, staring past Mistycloud at the activity beyond. She was a beautiful cat... But why was she talking to him? He licked a paw and drew it anxiously over one ear, suddenly noticing that his fur was a bit ruffled.

"Thanks," she smiled and sat down. "So tell me about yourself. What's made you the cat you are?"

Darkfeather raised one paw to his chest uncomfortably, ears twitching. No cat had ever shown this sort of interest in his past. And he supposed that he really didn't have much to tell.
"Er... I was born in the Clan, nothing particularly special. I was the youngest and smallest of my siblings, but they all died when I was very young. I don't really remember anything about them," he said.
He was quiet for a moment, uncertain of what he was expected to do next. Well... It was rude, maybe, to not ask her in return.
"What about you?" he said hastily.

Wolfstar woke up when she heard a voice coming into her dream. Her eyes slowly opened and she saw that Dreamkit and Moss were both awake. "Yes, Dreamkit. Lets go." She slipped out of the hay and turned back to Moss and Dreamkit. "Should I carry you?" she asked the kit.

Fogpool ran to her mate. "No, you can't die and leave me and our kits!" she cried.

Dewwing backed away from her brother. He was mad at her and she knew it. "He got caught in a twoleg trap." she grumbled to Gorsebranch.

"I can try to walk..." Dreamkit mewed, rising unsteadily to her paws. Her gaze was locked on the snow, now falling lightly.

Brownfur bent over Ghostmask, rubbing mixtures carefully onto his wounds. She glanced quickly at Foxpaw's load and meowed, "Yes, that's correct. Do you know how to apply them?"

[leopardwhisper]

((Don't forget, Hawkfire is also in the cave, he's yelling at Wolfstar.))
Hawkfire's fur bristled, no one was paying attention.
"Will you please listen to me! Fernkit is missing, and Dawnshadow is risking her life and the clan! Dreamkit looks fine! I understand she is a kit, but a kit in the snow will survive faster then a kit in enemy territoyr! You have to listen to me!" he meowed urgently. He ran up the the cave enterance to prevent them from leaving until he recieved an answer.
((I had this idea, i already posted it in the Forestclan board, but i think i should post it here too. I was thinking maybe we could have an inter-mix clan roleplay board. For fights and meetings, we don't have a board for if there is a war, they obviously can't war in the gathering area, and thats the only place we have for inter-clan mixing. I think we should make a new board for that. It is just an idea though...))

"I'm not sure," Foxpaw replied, "But this is the perfect time to show me!"

Mistycloud smiled, "I wasn't born in the clan. I was born in a barn and had a wonderful mate, Stripe, and three kits, Tansy, Holly and Fox. One winter day, rats invaded, and only Fox, Holly and I were able to escape. We survived for 13 moons in the wild, and then resided in NightClan."
She frowned, "Not the most happy story."

((What do you mean? Wolfstar and Moss just came back from a Twolegplace and came across Dreamkit. They're out in a cave now, but I didn't think anyone else was there... I may be wrong, though. But Wolfstar has been away from the Clan for days and I thought that the only one she has seen from the Clan is Dreamkit. When did Hawkfire come?))
