((So Cottonfur is going to become SC's meddie apprentice so that Fishtail can die? Is at some point this going to be talked over with Lightstar?))

Cottonfur stopped when she got to the ForestClan border. The she-cat could see the cats on the other side, and they were clearly hurt. Should she cross and risk getting yelled at? Cottonfur decided to take the risk and darted across the border. "What's going on here?" she meowed to Wildstar, the ForestClan leader. From what she saw, one cat, a tom, was seriously hurt and a she-cat was minorly hurt. Cottonfur quickly scanned the ares, making sure that there was nothing around the cats that could hurt them more.

((Sounds good. Cottonfur will have to go to Moonstone, won't she?))

((You mean the moonriver? Yeah, she will once Lightstar says it's okay for her to be the apprentice.))

Darkfur hissed threateningly, dropping down into a crouch.

Wildstar flicked her tail in front of Darkfur to stop him from springing. "Why did you cross the border? You're not a medicine cat!" She mewed angrily. They didn't need any enemy cats help.

"I'm sorry!" Cottonfur mewed. "If you'd like to loose their lives, I can cross back over now." The she-cat spun around and began to slowly pad away. "And to think," she meowed loudly. "I could've helped save the lives of two valuable warriors."

Damppaw sat alone in the sun, his dark navy-colored fur giving off a nice shine. The apprentice closed his eyes and started to nap when something shook him. He stood up, nearly yelping in surprise when he realized that it was only Winterpaw waking him up.

"Come hunting with me," she meowed.

"I'm kind of busy..." Damppaw replied.

"I passed by here a moon ago and you were here. Stop relaxing and follow me!"

Wildstar huffed. "You're not a medicine cat, you can help them?"

Darkfur hissed again.

"Darkfur, back off." She ordered, nudging him to the side and stepping towards the she cat. "I'll lay down my pride right now. Do you think you could help them? Frostwish is on her way but we're a ways away from camp." She dipped her head, even though she wanted to kick herself.

Cottonfur wanted to say, "I can try," or "I'll do my best," but the words wouldn't come out. The she-cat just nodded and began to look for the right herbs. Cottonfur immediately spotted some cobwebs and a clump of goldenrods. She bit off one of the plants and chewed it, then put it on Dustclaw's rat bite. To hod it in place, she wrapped cobwebs around it. She then moved him off of Frostyclaws and began to help her. Cottonfur found a thick piece of bark and more cobwebs to wrap around the other she-cat's paw. She finished her job, hoping and praying that she'd done it right.

((If Wildstar needs proving that Cottonfur did it right, Snowfall is more than welcome to come and say that she did it right.))


Shinepool woke with a start. "Bravesoul," she whispered, "it's really late. We've been sleeping for a while. I really should be getting back..." Swallowtail was probably freaking out, she'd been gone for a while. "I love you," she whispered in the sleeping cat's ear, and quickly bounded away, giving one last look of sorrow over her shoulder. She'd miss him, for sure.

But along the way back, she felt a feeling in her stomach she'd never felt before. Was she getting sick? Hopefully not, she needed to be ready for her Clan... and Bravesoul. So what else could it be...?

((*dramatic music plays* the allegiance of five...))

Bravesoul listened to Shinepool pad away quietly. Her Clan would be missing her right now. He mentally kicked himself for falling asleep, but there was nothing he could do about it now. Hollywind would be suspicious anyway, but still, he sat up and began to lick the SmokeClan scent off of him as best he could.
As he finished, he thought about Shinepool. She'd woken him when she'd gotten up, but he'd waited until she was gone before opening his eyes. Just to see what she'd say to him. He gave a small sigh; he missed her already.
Focusing on what he would do when he got back to camp, Bravesoul decided that bringing back prey was his best chance.
After catching a few mice, he headed back to camp, nervous about what the others would say about his absence.

Snowfall was on a mission. Mainly just to get catmint. But still. She needed to get away. She felt like everything was falling down around her, like she was ready to scream. There were no herbs to cure what she was feeling inside, and she struggled to hear the thoughts inside her head. ((and she's still freakin' out... although the radio disney edit is blah))

What she could hear was at least three, no, five cats -- one of which she recognized as Wildstar. Snowfall picked up her pace, forgetting about the catmint. She didn't want to butt in, but as she entered the area, she knew right away that cats were hurt. And that ForestClan was not the only Clan here. "Is everyone okay?" she asked quietly, talking to Wildstar more than anyone else.

((it has "can't hear the thoughts inside my head" instead of "i'm taking all the doctor's meds. apparently radio disney's afraid people are going to think the jonas brothers are on drugs or something, which is just plain stupid.))

"Everyone except these two," Cottonfur meowed, thinking that it was a cat she knew. When the she-cat turned, she was face-to-face with the ForestClan medicine cat, Snowfall. Great, another ForestClan cat, Cottonfur thought. This is just what I need now. Some other cat to judge me. But wait, if Snowfall's the medicine cat, she can make sure that I did everything right! "Snowfall," the white she-cat meowed. "I've already treated them. I put goldenrod on the rat bite and bandaged up Forstyclaw's leg. I used a piece of bark for support."
