Dewwhisker sat, mourning the loss of her kit. Yet the two that had survived were equally gorgeous.
"Lightpool, where is Smallshadow, can you help me burry my little kit, I need to carry these back to camp!" Dewwhisker frantically spewed out everything in her head, but most of all, where was her mate, he needed a part in this, afterall they were his offspring.

Lightpool buried the dead kit and took one of the others by it's scruff, "He is training with his apprentice, but we will get him once you are safe and sound." She padded forward and watched Dewwhisker pick up the other kit.
"What are thier names?"

"The kit with the roan leg and ear is larkkit, and the sand coloured kit with the tabbylegs is Adderkit." Dewwhisker replied triumphantly.
She was so proud of her tiny kits for surviving, and all of her doubts about being a queen were gone away. She was definitely ready.
"The one you burried was Frogkit." She added with despair, "but he's in starclan now."

When they reached camp Lightpool left Dewwhisker to settle in with her two kits at the nursery.
She sat down and immediately wondered where Smallshadow was; dosen't he want to see his kits?
She put that thought aside, he was training his apprentice, and being a mentor was a job needed, if not viatl for the clan's survival. So with that she let the kits suckle as she began to purr into a light, well deserved sleep.

Adderkit looked up at her mother, she was so beautiful, then a thought came to Adderkit's mind; or more rather a word. Warrior. She glanced over to Larkkit and whispered, "WHen do you think mom will let us go hunting?" with ambition sparkling in her eyes.

"Fine, if you insist, i am really tired and my fur is a comfortable warm." Adderkit mewled, not wanting to go out in the cold dusk yet admiring the warriors from a small hole in the nursery. She slowly got up and walked over to the hole; it was big enough for her to fit through; not wanting her mother to notice it she took a clup of moss and stopped the hole temporarily.

Dewwhisker lay in the nursry, it was dark outside as a frighteningly cold wind was on the move, creeping in all of the dens, chilling noses and rustling pelts. The clan was coming to a hault, most warriors were resting in the clearing or hiding from the chill in their dens. Larkkit and Adderkit were fast asleep under her pelt; she slowly felt their tiny boddies; at least they were warm. She layed ther for a few minutes before drifting into a deep, starry sleep...

Dewwhisker saw two figures approach her yet she could not tell who they were because of the dense fog and thick gorse that surrounded the mossy rock where she layed, cozy and warm. She felt something on her whisker and rolled on her back like a kit only to find Lightpool staring down at her.
"What are you doing here?" Dewwhisker whispered, now weary of the two figures drawing ever closer.
"I don't think this is Starclan, but if it isn't then what is this place?" She inquired.
