Since Burningsoul wouldn't answer his question, Ghostkit padded out of the nursery. He had never seen the medicine cat's den before, so he deciced to go in there.

Fogkit opened her eyes for the first time since Silentstar had dragged her back to camp and saw a little white kit...about her age. Her bright yellow eyes gleamed at him and her jaws opened to yawn. She had been asleep for at least a moon, maybe more, and was still tired. At first, her eyes were calm, then she let out a startling yowl. "Mother! Mother, where are you? Where are you?" Ghostkit padded up to her and looked at Fogkit with comforting eyes. "Your not mother!" Fogkit screamed at him. "Where is she?"
