((ok, I'm back!))

After the commotion in the medicine cat's den, Wolfsoul forgot that she was supposed to be hunting. So she padded out of camp to go get some fresh-kill for the clan.

[fogkit]

Fogkit padded out of the med. cat's den to go comfort Ghostkit after he had fallen. "Are you okay Ghostkit?" she mewed puzzled, but worried.

[Golden]

She woke as light streamed into the warriors' den. It hurt her eyes, but she was happy. Newleaf is here! But a troubling thought crossed her mind again, there is little prey for newleaf. She was saddened when she looked at her to thin clanmates, she'd do anything for them. Goldenheart wanted to talk to Stripefur, and watched him enter the camp. Her eyes blazed with love for him.

((oh, it's morning already? well this was last night))

Wolfsoul padded into the camp with 2 fat squirrels. They were easy to catch, because they were both asleep next to each other in a single tree in Angel's Medow. She put both of them down in the fresh-kill pile and then padded out of the camp. She lied down next to the river, but didn't want to go to sleep, for fear that another dream about her mother would make her want to go and find her even more, but the clan always came first. She got up and walked back into the camp and just sat there. Wolfsoul knew how much she wanted to find her mother, but something was holding her back. Was it her responsibilities for NightClan?

Stripefur was upset, he had caught nothing. But his spirits lifted when he saw Goldenheart coming towards him. "Hello." he purred, his eyes still troubled.

[Golden]

"Hi Stripefur." she licked his ear. She knew he was angry that he had caught nothing. "Will you come with me to the forest?"

Fogkit looked at his scratch and started to lick it. "I hope you're all right." she mewed. "Why are your brother and sister so mean to you?" she asked curiously.

"Sure." he meowed and they left the camp. Sadly, there was no sound of prey scuttling among the bracken or any heartbeat pounding in a little creature's chest. The forest was dead silent, where they were at least. The two cats didn't know that twolegs were beginning to tear up the forest, causing prey to leave or die. His ears flicked when he heard a sound, but it was only the sound of them breathing. He felt depressed, not even the sun was still out. It had gone behind a cloud, thick and grey. A little water drop splashed him. Rain. When more started to come, he shook his body. He could feel Goldenheart's body pressing up against him, warmimg him. Their eyes met, and the same feelings were in both of there's. Fear and love.

Stonekit felt guilty for pushing his brother. It was dawnkit who had rod him too. She wasn't mean but she loved being the center of attention. Stonekit walked bck to his brother and fogkit. "I'm sorry."

[Golden]

"Something's coming." she told him. "I can feel it. Something big is going to happen." her gaze slid to the sky, now pouring rain. Stripefur pressed closer to her. She tingled at his touch. Goldenheart had missed him so much when they were apart, and she thanked StarClan that they had brought the two cats together again. What would I do without you?

"I like Fogkit. Do you think she'll stay with us?"

"I hope so. For you." he added. "I kind of like someone too."

They stood like that, staring up at the sky, fur brushing. Stripefur knew what she meant. Trouble was coming, though it wasn't clear to any cat. Finally, he broke the silence. "I love you, Goldenheart." she looked over at him.
"I love you too, Stripefur." and she did. Then, the two NightClan cats turned and slowly padded back to camp, savoring every moment they had together.

[Golden]

She felt better, but went under a near tree to let her fur dry before going into the den. The other cats wouldn't appreciate it if Goldenheart was soaking wet.

[fogkit]

"Ghostkit! Ghostkit! Have you asked your mother if I could stay. I won't be much to take care of." Fogkit pleaded.

I woke up groggily from my mid-day nap.
