Brownfur's eyelids drooped. She was exhausted. Slipping into the deepest part of her den--where her nest was-- she curled up and fell asleep.

She saw a sun and a moon in the sky. Brownfur knew that she was dreaming but everything was so vivid... and familiar. The sun and the moon grew closer until there was hardly any space between them.
A voice spoke, "Sun and moon will come together.
Light and dark will meet.
The eclipse will come."

Then there was a blinding flash of light and Brownfur's eyes fluttered open. She scrambled to her paws, breathing hard. The medicine cat remembered having the same dream a few moons ago. But then it wasn't so realistic. She'd pushed it aside, not believing it was a sign from StarClan. But it had to mean something.

The she-cat hardly felt rested. Before she knew it she was laying down on her mossy nest again, asleep.
She had no dreams.

"Sally, didn't you say that you wanted to go back?" Dewwing asked the kit.

It had been a while since Silvertooth had seen Brownfur, and the wolf was waiting in her den. The medicine cat had just woken up. "Hey." the wolf said in a friendly voice. She was puzzled by Brownfur's look and then said, "You had a prophecy, didn't you?"

[Golden]

((Hi Dawn! She went back to sleep, but she can get up again.))

Brownfur opened her eyes again, this time to see Silvertooth. "Yes," She meowed cautiously. Did Silvertooth know it's meaning?

Sally thought, she had said that she wanted to go back before she had met the cats. Her humans would be getting her a new home anyway. What would it matter if she didn't come back? Her mother never liked her the best. Her mother had always liked her older sister. She didn't even know her father! The humans didn't want her, the thought of staying grew ever more appealing. "I did say that I wanted to go home, but that was before I met everyone. My humans don't want me anyway. My mother has my sister, she has liked her best. Would it be okay for me to stay?" Sally asked. She felt dumb after asking because she was afraid that they would say no. She didn't care what she had to do to be able to stay, she didn't want to go home!

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Yes, of course you can stay!" Dewwing mewed happily. "At least if Wolfstar says it's okay."

Wolfstar awoke and knew that it was almost time to mourn Thrushstripe, Waterstep and Sundrop. She got up and stretched, but then remembered her sore leg. She walked as best she could toward the medicine cat's den to see if she could get some poppy seeds. "Brownfur, are you here?" Wolfstar noticed a small kit laying on a moss bed with Dewwing. "Dewwing, who is this?" she sniffed the air. "She smells of kittypet." Wolfstar wasn't angry, just confused.

"Hi I'm Sally!" Sally mewed happily. She had no clue that this was the NightClan leader. She thought that it was just another curious cat coming to investigate her scent.

[Golden]

((Either one is fine.))

Brownfur heard her name being called. She looked away from Silvertooth's spirit and walked out to the main part of her den. There she saw Dewwing, Wolfstar, and another cat. "Yes, Wolfstar?" She asked, her ears twitching.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Hello, Sally." Wolfstar said to the kit. "Why do you smell of kittypet?" she asked curiously. Although this kit was no threat to her Clan, if twolegs were looking for her, NightClan would be in trouble. She looked to her side and saw Brownfur appear from her sleeping spot. "May I have some poppy seeds for my leg?" Wolfstar asked.

[Golden]

Brownfur dipped her head to Wolfstar before taking two poppy seeds from her supply. She silently placed them at her leader's paws and stepped back.

((Okay. I modified my post on page 67 and filled in Maplefur's name for Hollypaw's mentor. When someone else decides to be Foxpaw's mentor (for now), I will modify it again.))

Wolfstar licked up the poppy seeds and said, "Thank you, Brownfur. You are a wonderful medicine cat.

[Golden]

Brownfur sat up and purred. "Thank you, Wolfstar," she mewed.

Her eyes went back and forth between brownfur, sally, and wolfstar. "Well, is she staying or not?"

"I smell like a kittypet because I used to live with people! A kittypet is a cat that lives with people, right?" Sally meowed.

[Golden]

"Go back to the nursery, Lunarkit." Brownfur told the kit gently. "You must be tired."

[lunarkit]

"No I'm not!" she protested, stifling a yawn. Her tail drooping and she could barley hold herself up, but she stood her ground.

[Golden]

"Go on, Lunarkit." Brownfur continued. "And hello, Sally, I'm Brownfur, medicine cat of NightClan."
