NightClan RP (Book 4!)

[silvertooth]

The Nofur looked helpless with his paws in the air, ready to surrender. Silvertooth was still growling when she heard something out of the window. She quickly glanced over, teeth still bared, when she saw Water! She motioned for the she-cat to come in and help her finish off the Nofur. She turned back to the hunter and he was looking out the window, seeing the cats. But as soon as Silvertooth turned back to him, he turned back to her as well. The wolf lunged at him and one of the front chomp trap chain snapped. She only had two left on her paws and hoped that Water got her signal.

[Golden]

"Come here, Waterstep. We might be able to get in through this hole without the Twoleg noticing." Goldenstar beckoned to a corner of the nest where the trees had broken away. "Once we get in, we need to get the Twoleg away from Silvertooth. And we have to make sure that it has no weapons while we do this. It doesn't appear to have any, so getting it away will be easier than if it did." Goldenstar crouched near the hole. "Follow right behind me. I don't want him to block the hole when he sees me come in, if he does." Her amber eyes blazed with determination to get Silvertooth out.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

Wolfsoul padded into the middle of the camp and saw a dead kit laying there. Oh. she thought sadly. This must have been one of Fogpool's kits. The deputy padded into the nursery and saw Fogpool laying with three kits next to her. Ghostmask was sitting next to Fogpool. "What beautiful kits!" Wolfsoul exclaimed in the happiest tone she could without saying something about the dead one in the clearing. "What are their names?"

[fogkit]

Fogpool heard Wolfsoul come into the nursery. "Hello Wolfsoul." she said in a meaningful tone. She pointed to each kit with her tail according to their heartbeats. "This is Gorsekit." The blind cat pointed to the one that felt the biggest. "This is Thrushkit." She pointed to the kit that had the fastest heartbeat. "And this is Dewkit." Last, Fogpool pointed to the one that felt the smallest. And no surprise, she got them all correct.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Those are wonderful names!" Wolfsoul said, maybe a little too happy.

[Golden]

Goldenstar didn't wait for an answer. She looked at Waterstep and nodded, signaling it was time to get in the nest. She bolted silently through the hole and came out inside. The place sent shivers down her spine. But she saw Silvertooth and ran behind a crate, close to the wolf. The Twoleg hadn't seen her.

[fogkit]

"I can tell that your heartbeat has gotten faster, Wolfsoul." Fogpool mewed with a bit of amusment in her voice. "You have seen the dead kit outside. That is Brindlekit, my other daughter. She died at birth, a very sad moment indeed." Her voice started to change from amusment to grief. "It's alright though. We're alright. As long as our daughter gets to go to StarClan with a name," she paused. "we're alright."

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"Oh. I see from what you say that you belive in StarClan with all your heart. That is what kind of warrior NightClan needs." Wolfsoul smiled and then backed out of the nursery to let Fogpool and Ghostmask be with their kits.

[fogkit]

Fogpool realized what Wolfsoul said was true. Good warriors are the ones that belive in StarClan. Now she realized, that she was...home. Truely home.

[earth]

"I was out hunting!" she burst out. "I can't see and I want to be a warrior. I don't want to be held back. And I want to train with Goldenstar! Do you think she will train me since I can hardly see?" Earthpaw shouted out of the den to the NightClan deputy. Their was so much sadness in her voice. "Is there any hope for me to become a warrior?" Her voice softened to a whisper and her head dropped so she could see the outline of her paws. Earthpaw's heart was aching.

[earth]

Duskwhisper shook her head. Would the apprentice be punished? She shouldn't have done that. Her running off had caused a disturbance to the Clan. The black warrior sighed and went to look for her apprentice. "Jetpaw, let's go work on your fighting."

[silvertooth]

She was still growling at the Nofur when she saw a golden cat and a grey, almost blue, cat pad behind some cages. Goldenstasr and Waterpaw! Silvertooth thought. The wolf lunged again and then pulled with all her might. The other front chomp trap chain came undone and she had one on her back leg left. She was still pulling toward the Nofur with the chain against her back leg. This one was stronger than the other three and would take more than just her. She quickly turned around to notify the cats that she was talking to the cats. Then Silvertooth turned back toward the Nofur hunter and barked. "Goldenstar, Waterpaw! Start doing something to the chain; scratching, biting, anything! Then when I'm loose, help me get the Nofur on the ground!" At that, Silvertooth started pulling again, hoping that the two cats were helping her.

((Silvertooth doesn't know that Waterpaw turned to Waterstep. And we won't kill the Nofur until Golden loses her life.))

[Golden]

Goldenstar glanced up at Silvertooth. "Okay!" she meowed. But first she needed to get the Twoleg a little farther away so they would have some time. She bit its paw and it stumbled backwards, looking at the bloody wound. Goldenstar lunged at the chain and pulled. It tightened so she started using her claws to untangle it. She could feel it get a little bit loser.

((When Goldenstar fights the Twoleg it will kick her and she'll fall back against the wall. Then she'll lose her life. After that she'll be very weak but will fight as best she can while she is hurt.))

[~*WOLFIE*~]

Wolfsoul turned around to see Earthpaw yowling to her. She padded over to the she-cat and mewed, "Earthpaw, don't get so upset. I'm sure that you could become a warrior, even though your eyes don't work very good anymore. I mean, just look at Fogpool! She became a warrior when she was fully blind. I'm sure that..." The deputy paused. "That's it! What if Fogpool helped you adapt to this kind of life?"

[earth]

"Would she really do that?" Earthpaw's shyness kicked in. Her eyes widened. The little cat had been brought up by Breeze, but she never thought that she would be as important to her than her own kits. Earthpaw had felt alone since her mother and sister had died. Would another cat really help her?

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"I'm sure that she would help you! She's very kind and very smart." Wolfsoul mewed to the apprentice. "She could be like a second mentor. But she just had her kits, so why don't we wait until they grow up a little more. Is that okay?"

[silvertooth]

Silvertooth felt the chain getting looser and looser. She pulled even harder and then she heard a snap. The chain had come undone and the wolf was free to do whatever to the Nofur. She lunged at the hunter and he was soon on the floor. Silvertooth motioned for the two cats to come and help her.

[earth]

"Yeah, that's fine." She mewed a little sadly. Earthpaw went back to her nest and laid her head on her paws, deep in thought. When would the kits be old enough? And would they like their mother teaching a virtually blind apprentice? Would Fogpool mind teaching her?

[Golden]

Goldenstar jumped onto the Twoleg, scratching at its face. She had hoped that it would leave and they wouldn't have to hurt it, but it hadn't. And Goldenstar knew that she must fight it, though seeing blood spilled was very horrible to her. Silvertooth was also much more important than this Twoleg who had tried to kill her. Goldenstar's white paws were soon stained with blood.

Silvertooth tried biting at it's neck, but the Nofur kept on moving it's head around. I'll show this evil hunter what it's like to be trapped and then killed, like he did to mom. the wolf thought.
