Goldenheart padded out of the warriors den and saw Poppykit across the clearing exiting the nursery.

Goldenheart jumped back letting out a meow of joy. "You better watch out!" she called to Poppykit playfully and rolled it back softly at the kit, with her paw.

"It takes about 8 moons of training to become a warrior!" She reminded Poppykit. "But it will fly by!"
Goldenheart liked the spirit in the kit. She would make a good warrior.

"You will have to wait and see." She said. Any mentor would like to have her as an apprentice. Goldenheart did hope to get her, but as long as Poppykit got a good mentor it was not a big deal who. But Goldenheart did care.

She tossed back the mossball and Poppykit caught it in her mouth. "Nice catch!" She teased as Poppypaw dropped it. They did not taste good.
