Mosspaw was entering the med. cats den as she heard Petalfall say something about kits. Mosspaw burst through, "Really? Wow! Will they be tiny? What will you name them? How long?" She was full of energy.

Goldenheart started thinking about Petalfall's future kits. She hoped the clan would except them! But most of all she was worried about her friend.

"Alright." her heart was tearing in two. She longed to be with him more every second they were together. Petalfall couldn't wait for the kits to be born! She and Runningmist touched noses and agreed to meet at sunhigh in a moon. "I will send someone to speak to you if I don't come." She told her mate, and the she slowly walked off looking back at the one she loved.
