Wildstar decided to put off the days ceremonies to allow the Clan to mourn for the lost warriors. She padded softly over and joined those who were mourning.

((dies. OH THE ANGUISH OF WAITING.))

((Then day can end quickly, lol. But I need to know what to call Bravepaw, and I need to add the new kitties. :0)))

((For now just put Brave_____. That's what I did until I got an answer and filled in the blank.))

((So, Wildstar's agenda is to make Bravepaw a warrior, Rabbitkit and apprentice (to Bravepaw) , Orange an apprentice to... Mintblossom, would you mind, Lighty? And Rabbitpaw's training would be held off because she'd go into labor.))

((Grr, I have to go now, so I don't have time for the ceremonies. I'll do them when I come back, though, 'kay?))

Wildstar awoke at sunrise and padded out onto the rock outside her den. She yawned and stretched, then she called out, "All cat old enough to catch their own prey, gather for a Clan meeting beneath the Tallrock." Her voice rang out clearly.


"I, Wildstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Bravepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"


"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Bravepaw, from this moment you will be known as Bravesoul. StarClan honors your bravery and your integrity, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ForestClan." She padded forward to touch noses with her former apprentice, and shone with pride.


((Sorry, Frosty, we had to get the other cats apprenticed!))


"Rabbitkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rabbitpaw. I ask Starclan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior. Bravesoul, I trust you to pass on all you have learned to Rabbitpaw and help her become a warrior the Clan can be proud of."

She stepped back.

"I wi-," Rabbitpaw coughed. "I wi-."
All of a sudden, the young apprentice fell to her side.
Her breathing grew heavy.
"Help!" She shreiked, "They're coming!"

Rabbitpaw pushed and pushed, and almost fainted. Before she knew it, one small white kit was lying next to her. She looked out into the clan. Their faces were filled with heavy emotion.
She licked the kit.
"You're going to be Moonkit," she whispered.

(( It's okay, Wild, I understand. I was actually thinking Bravesoul too... I didn't want to do Braveheart, because that's kind of cliche and I think it might have been in the books. So, I guess, Bravesoul then? ))

Orange leaped up and bounded to Rabbitpaw's side. "It'll be okay, Rabbitpaw," he murmured in her ear. "I love the name, by the way."

Frostwish looked up from where she lay comfortingly next to Rabbitpaw at Orange. She smiled knowingly. The birthing had gone wonderfully, and there was a new, healthy kit for the Clan. "Rabbitpaw, do you need anything?" she asked softly, knowing how sensitive the she-cat would be.

Wildstar looked on through the entire birth with shock. She was just a kit! Wildstar herself hadn't even had kits yet. A new healthy kit for the Clan wouldn't be a problem, though, she thought gratefully. "Looks like you might be waiting a while to start passing on your tricks, Bravesoul." She purred heartily to her former apprentice.

[Lawl[iet]]

Winterpaw trudged through the forest outside camp as blistering cold wind blazed her fur. She was a bit surprised that it hadn't snowed yet. The ForestClan apprentice kept walking until a small, wet snowflake landed gently on her nose. Winterpaw looked up to see more snowflakes falling at a steady pace. "Ah!" She purred. "Winter!" The apprentice bounced around in the snow for a minute then decided to get her sister. "Snowfall! Come here!" She called. "Snowfall!"

"I'm okay, thank you." She meowed, "And actually, Wildstar, I'vee been meaning to tell you. I'm actually eleven moons, but when I was found I didn't know I was older than I actually was. Ferncloud mistook me for a younger kit."

"Oh, my, really? Wow." She replied in a shocked tone. A faraway look rested in her eyes.

[—ƒrostyy—]

(( I think she meant Ferntail. ))

Bravesoul twitched his whiskers. "So it would seem, Wildstar." He looked at Rabbitpaw and her kit warmly. It was not his place to judge, and newborn kits were always adorable.

Orange nodded. "We were going to tell you, Wildstar, as soon as we knew, but other things came up..." he mewed, looking at Moonkit. Orange looked at Rabbitpaw, then back at Moonkit. "We should move you two into the nursery."

"So, Bravesoul." She flicked her old apprentice playfully with her tail, "How's it feel being a warrior? You must sit your vigil tonight." She reminded him.

Bravesoul nodded. "It's... different, that's for sure. I'm glad to be a warrior now, even if it means I have to stay out in the cold all night," he purred, his whiskers twitching again. He looked to the setting sun that was painting the sky bright colors, then back to Wildstar. "I should probably get started on my vigil, huh?"

"I would guess so." She nodded, and curtly dipped her head to the new warrior. "Congratulations." She said, padding in the direction of her den.
