Bravesoul sighed. Thank you, Wildstar. For everything... he thought. Then he went to sit vigil at the camp entrance.

Rabbitpaw smiled, "Would you announce it to the clan? I hate being looked down on."

[leopardwhisper]

((-pokes wild- HI. I am the NEW apprentice Leopardpaw. If you don't know me, i am the new apprentice, Leopardpaw.The only problem is....I DON'T GOTTA MENTOR. Im just gunna do a post mainly showing her personality and stuff))
Leopardpaw bounded with excitment across the forestclan camp. It was her first day as an apprentice and she was Determined to make it the best. Padding over to the fresh-kill pile she reached a mouse off the top. Before her mouth was a mouse-tail away from it, she felt a paw swipe her face. ((This is a random unnamed warrior, kinda like how there are WAY more warriors then mentioned in the series...) "Leopardpaw! You are never to eat off the fresh-kill pile UNTIL you have fed the clan before! You should know that by now."
"Well SORRY. If you didn't notice, i became an apprentice YESTERDAY. Im not an expert at apprentice-ing!"
"You are to NEVER speak to a warrior like that!" The warrior stalked off, but not without muttering loud enough for Leopardpaw to hear, "lousy apprentices..."

[snowy.]

((Yeah, only problem is we have only two warriors or so, and about three or four apprentices. Do we have a deputy, Wild?))

"Yes, Winter?" Snowfall asked, bounding over to her sister.

[i hope dawn never comes.]

It was early in the morning, many warriors were still asleep, and Leopardpaw was feeling as excited as ever, as well as hungry. Smiling to herself, she stalked out of the camp. I've seen loads of apprentices catch prey, I've also won so many hunting games as a kit, i can do this, easy. Leopardpaw thought to herself trying to persuade her mind. Finally she was out, the first time out of the camp. Breathing the fresh air around her. She sniffed for prey.

((Okiez! I posted the form on my Warriors' info page, here, AND made a new thread with it, i dunno which one i was suppose to do, so i did all of them. ))
Firewind trudged out of his comfy pile of moss and into the shining sun. He felt the grass crunch under his paws, snow melting with each step. He meandered around the camp looking for Leopardpaw. He was a new warrior, only a few moons difference from Leopardpaw, and was honored to be given an apprentice so soon. Worry started to grip his heart. His pace quickened, he looked everywhere, even their den. No where. But he did catch her scent. Following his nose it led him to the fresh-kill pile...then out of camp. "Oh no..." He whispered to himself. He bolted out of the camp at high speed, following Leopardpaw's strong and carelessly covered scent. Suddenly, he found her. She had run into rouge territory. Surrounded by strong, bold, clanless cats. Growling, Firewind jumped in front of her.
"Firewind!"
"Leopardpaw...you had BETTER have a good strong explanation on WHY YOU LEFT THE CAMP!!"
"I-I-I wanted to go hunting!!"
"And yet you found yourself in this mess! You haven't even been an apprentice for a full sunrise-sunset and you've already broken the warrior code!!"
"The warrior code?!" Leopardpaw squeaked.
Firewind's voice instantly grew calm. "Sorry cats, but this little kitten found her way into your territory, i am terribly sorry, and she will NEVER do it again..." He flicked his tail on Leopardpaw's back and they slowly turned around and headed back for camp.
"SHE HAD BETTER NOT!" Growled a dark black cat from behind.
The two Forestclan cats headed back to camp, both scared about what they would have to explain to their kind, but fierce leader.

[snowy.]

Ivyshine yawned and stepped out of the warriors den. She then headed out to go hunting. Padding quietly through the forest, she caught a scent of a mouse. She crouched down and sprang, killing the mouse with deadly precision. Grabbing her catch in her paws, she padded back to camp.

[leopardwhisper]

"Wildstar?!" Firewind called as he entered the campsite.
"Shh! Not so loud..." Leopardpaw meowed. Firewind looked at her sternly. Leopardpaw retreated a step. Sighing, Firewind licked her head.
"It'll be alright, you're a new apprentice, Wildstar should go easy on you."
"I'm still scared..." Leopardpaw meowed.
She brushed against his fire red pelt, she was instantly washed in warmth. Closing her eyes, horrible images grew in her mind. Images of banishment, demotion, being a kit forever, never seeing other warriors under the full moon, Firewind's eyes boring into her, shame, laughter, mockery.
Before she knew it, they were in front of the Leader's den and Firewind was shaking her off of his pelt. He nudged her forward with his muzzle and into the Leader's den, where Wildstar lay, perfectly still, perfectly in peace. ((I think you can figure out who Leopardpaw's mate is EVENTUALLY gunna be...note i say EVENTUALLY.))

"Yes, Winter?" Snowfall asked, bounding over to her sister.

"Winter is here!" The apprentice stifled a gleeful shout like that of a kit as she rolled in the soft snow. "It's snowing! I love the snow! Just as much as I love you, sister." Winterpaw smiled. "Oh! I'm not doing anything right now, so I can go and collect herbs or check wounds if you need me to."

Wildstar bolted up from her nest, startled. When she saw who was at the entrance, she shook off her pelt lazily and turned to face them. "Now, what can this sleepy leader do for you today?"

[leopardwhisper]

Firewind pushed Leopardpaw forward with his muzzle.
"This little she-cat was caught wandering in rouge territory. I found her just in time. A few more paw-steps and she would've been dead. Currently, i think that she didn't know any better, don't you remember when you were an apprentice, the very first morning, when you wanted no more then to prove to the clan your loyalty? I think we should prepare the warriors just in case, but let Leopardpaw off with a warning. I promise i will take her out immediately and she will learn the borders, i know its a little far off, but i also think she should be banned from the gatherings for two moons." Firewind meowed.
Leopardpaw's eyes shined, and she felt something burst in her soul, she saw Firewind in a way she's never seen another cat. A deep fuzzy feeling inside. Leopardpaw side-stepped closer to Firewind, until her pelt was brushing his. They waited for their leader's reply, two cats as one. ((<3))

"Unfortunately, I never had the chance to be born into a Clan. Auburnstar founded ForestClan." She recited, giving a little history, "It's a fair punishment. Firewind is right, though, Leopardpaw. Rogues aren't like us, not even close. They wouldn't give you a chance to explain, as would any of the four Clans in the forest." Wildstar sat down and nodded to them both, "They'd probably just eat you." She teased and laid back down.

Leopardpaw froze, somewhat in fear, Firewind flicked her back with his tail, "She's only joking," he meowed. "I'll take her out training, she'll learn the borders, then hunting, then battle training. " He looked at Leopardpaw sharply, "All today."
"Firewind! But-I'd be EXHAUSTED!"
"What's your point?"
"Fine." Leopardpaw meowed knowing arguing wouldn't do anything. The two headed out into the sunlight, the snow glistening like diamonds.

Petalwing, since the time of the Clan meeting, managed to migrate slowly around to the Sunningrocks. She thought back to the not-so-distant time when the great rocks emanated heat from the rich golden sun. Now, the pale sun's weak rays had been stifled by clouds that dropped leaf-bare's first snow. A fat snowflake drifted down from the sky, coming to rest on Petalwing's nose. With a small sneeze, the lean she-cat rose from her resting place. She knew that though the snow was pretty, it definitely marked the fact that leaf-bare had arrived.
Time to get serious.
Petalwing spotted Firewind and Leopardpaw walking through the camp. She called out to them.
"Hey, Firewind! Leopardpaw! Want to take the next hunting patrol?"
