((OMG HI KITTENSWIM. Her and I is real-life friends >.<)) Firewind spotted Petalwing.
"No thanks! This little apprentice needs to learn everything!" he meowed back. Then taking Leopardpaw to the edge of the border he meowed.
((I'M MAKING ALL OF THIS UP FROM THE LAKE CAMP, IF IT IS DIFFERENT, PLEASE INFORM ME))"Over there, to the sunrise is Nightclan," He meowed flicking his tail over there.
"They smell just like after a thunderstorm. And over there" he meowed flicking his tail to the opposite side.
"That is Cliffclan, they smell like when you hit two stones together. And way over there” he meowed, his head pointing in front of them.
“That is SmokeClan. They smell really damp and mossy.” He meowed.
“wow…that is a lot of clans…what do we smell like to the others?”
“We have the greatest scent of all, the scent of spring, the scent of tree bark and of soft, newborn grass.” He meowed proudly.
“Now go take a break, Eat something, at sun-high I want you to meet me below High rock. We are going hunting.” He meowed and took off back into the woods toward the camp. Leopardpaw followed him.

[snowy.]

"I'm sorry, Winter," Snowfall apologized, "I should really go see if Frostwish needs help with anything, especially since Rabbitpaw just had kits." An apprentice having kits? Now that was close to unheard of. But she had surivived, and so had the kits, so she shouldn't need that much help.
"Frostwish, do you need help with anything?" Snowfall asked.

Petalwing watched the two cats leave the camp with a sigh. This had been quite an unexpected day. Ignoring the wind that whispered around her, she figured that if she couldn't help the whole Clan, she might as well try to help the most demanding aspect of the day. Which would be Rabbitpaw and Moonkit, she thought. The she-cat was still thoroughly shocked at the fact that an apprentice--an apprentice, for StarClan's sake--had just added another member to ForestClan. She didn't see how she could be of any help, though. Petalwing didn't know yarrow from coltsfoot when it came to medicine cat work. But she could hunt and she could fight. Skimming over the camp, she didn't see any free warriors. She shivered. Leaf-bare was off to an interesting start.

((Dang. I haven't been on for almost 2 WEEKS. But you know, holidays and whatnot. Back to RPing! ))

Frostwish looked from the herbs she was sorting. "Yes, Snowfall. Could you go see if Rabbitpaw or Moonkit need anything?" she mewed, getting up and stretching her stiff legs. "You should probably bring them some freshkill just in case. Rabbitpaw should eat something." Frostwish paused, trying to remember if there was anything else. "Oh, and if Orange is in there with them, tell him he should eat and get some sleep."

Bravesoul yawned and padded out of the warriors den into the frigid air of the camp. He looked around for another warrior he could go hunting with, despite the cold. He only saw one: Petalwing. He padded over shyly; he hadn't spoken to her much.
"Petalwing?" he just barely managed to keep his voice steady, he was shivering so much. His winter coat hadn't fully grown in yet. "Would you like to go hunting with me?"

"Frostwish? Snowfall?" Rabbitpaw stopped her licking to cqall out for the medicine cats.
((Me either. It's crazy!))

[snowy.]

Snowfall picked up two mice from the fresh-kill pile and bounded over to the nursery. "Call for me?" she asked, setting down the mice next to Rabbitpaw.

"Yes, thanks. Have you seen Orange? And I'm STARVED."

As Wildstar brushed past the nursery, she adressed Rabbitpaw. "You are not, never were, and never will be starving. Not in this Clan." She continued on her walk to her den.

"Well then," Rabbitpaw mewed, "I'm moderatley hungry."

[snowy.]

Snowfall pushed the two mice towards Rabbitpaw. "If you're still hungry after you eat those, call me. I'll go find Orange for you." She bounded out of the den and into the clearing. "Orange?" she called.

"That's more like it!" Wildstar shouted back before stepping into her den.

"Thanks very much, Snowfall," Rabbitpaw gulped down the two pieces of fresh kill and licked Moonkit.

[leopardwhisper]

Leopardpaw shivered. They've been hunting for what seemed like forever. At first she was excited, but soon the cold began to grip at her fur and she couldn't do it any longer.
"Firewind...I'm so tired....and cold...and HUNGRY."
"Stop complaining. If you're going to be a warrior, you're gonna have to suck it up." he meowed strongly. He continued to scent the air. Catching a scent he turned around to see Leopardpaw, half-drunk looking, slumping toward him. Sighing, he said,
"Maybe we could go back. Get some rest, you can barely scent anything in this weather. Let's take our prey. But we will learn battle training. Meet me by the warriors den when the sun is parallel to the ground toward the east." he meowed, and hoisting the tired apprentice up, the two ran back into camp.

Leopardpaw collapsed with exhaustion in the apprentice den and immediately fell asleep.

Firewind padded around the camp, waiting, he didn't know what he was waiting for, but he was waiting. Waiting...
((Also, Fernkit in Nightclan wandered into enemy territory, do you wonder if it was Forestclan, cause Nightclan and Forestclan are the two most active clans, it would be cool to have a battle! Could you guys possibly make a thread where clans mix, like if two cats from clans are in love, they can meet at that board, or if two (or more) clans go to war, they can fight in that board. Its just an idea >.<))

"You're welcome," Snowfall said, "Call me if you need anything."

"I will," Rabbitpaw yawned and heard Moonkit drift off to sleep.

Leopardpaw was shaken awake by a rough pawing. Yawning, she turned away.
“Get up.” Firewind growled.
“Is it time already?” she meowed sleepily.
“Yes. You have to learn battle training.”
“Why do I have to learn all of this in one day?”
“It’s your punishment,” he meowed, then threw down a scrawny mouse and began eating part of it. “We are sharing the mouse, you’re gonna need the strength.”
“It’s so…small.”
“This is leaf-bare. Be glad you have food. Now eat.” He meowed between bits.
Leopardpaw hauled herself up and began eating. It tasted weak and terrible. But Firewind was right. She wasn’t a kit anymore. She was able to eat the real food. No matter how terrible.
After the two finished eating, they headed outside. The snow was falling much more gently, and walking in it was almost…calming. After a few moments in the drifting snow, Leopardpaw began to shiver. Ignoring it and knowing after a while of training she would be warm, she padded after Firewind.
They soon arrived at the training hollow. It was blanketed in snow.
“Today, you will be learning only one move. It is a powerful and complicated move. But it is very useful in battle. By the end of today you will have mastered it. The move is the Frontal Paw strike. This is a frontal attack,” he walked over to a nearby branch. Firewind picked it up with his mouth and propped it up. “You slide downward with your frontal paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed. However, in the training hollow, you always keep your claws sheathed. We need every cat to have every limb. Let me demonstrate this move on the branch. Imagine it is an enemy. I will show it to you claws unsheathed so you have an idea on how powerful it is, and show you how dangerous unsheathed claws are.” He padded over to the branch. With a snarl, he lashed his front paw to the branch, clawing its twigs and part of the bark off.
“Now you try it on me, claws sheathed. I need this face for the she-cats.” He meowed jokingly. Leopardpaw laughed. (if cats can laugh )
“Puh-lease, you’ll need more then that face to win over a she-cat.” She teased as she raced toward him. Claws sheathed, she struck his face with her paw. Growling.
“Good for a first try. Try not to rush at me so much, and do try to protect your belly.”
“Oh, sorry, okay.” Leopardpaw meowed, she hadn’t realized she left her belly completely unprotected. She tried the move at least five times before they headed back to camp.
“That’s good for today Leopardpaw, you did great, go back to camp and get some well deserved rest.” He meowed. The two raced back to camp. Once he knew Leopardpaw was sleeping in the apprentice den did he leave the camp once more. His paws were still bristling from excitement. An apprentice! A real apprentice. Firewind scented Petalwing, she had asked him earlier if he wanted to go on a hunting patrol with her. Firewind, being a new warrior, didn’t really know any of the other warriors very well, and he decided it would be good to make a few friends. Petalwing was nice enough. He padded up to her and decided to make conversation.
“Hiya Petalwing. This leaf-bare is pretty crazy huh? On the bright side your light-colored pelt just blends in, unlike mine which stands out like black on white.” He meowed to her, feeling a little dumb. ((Cherry-la is still in Hawaii, so I’ll just post on Leopardpaw for the time being.))
