Orange padded into camp, a vole hanging from his jaws. He set it down on the freshkill pile and cotinued over to where Snowfall was standing. "Do you need something, Snowfall?"

[snowy.]

"Rabbitpaw is looking for you," Snowfall replied, "That's one lovely kit you've got there." She smiled.

"Thanks, Snowfall," Orange mewed, padding past her to see Rabbitpaw. He bent down and gave Moonkit a loving lick. Then he looked back up at Rabbitpaw. "Need something?" he grinned. ((Although I'm not sure cats can grin...))

"A nap," Rabbitpaw yawned, "Can you watch her?"

"No problem," Orange purred. "You deserve one." He settled down to watch the small kit, amusing her by twitching the tip of his tail.

Moonkit looked up at Orange, "Who are you?" She rolled over and batted at his paws without her claws out.

"Before I tell you, put those claws away. We don't want to take an eye out, now do we?" Orange purred, pulling his paws away from her small, thorn-sharp claws. He picked her up by the scruff and turned her away from Rabbitpaw. "Now, you ask, who am I? I am Orange, Moonkit. I'm your-" the words caught in his throat. The one question he hadn't wanted to think about asking bubbled up again. Why didn't she know who he was? Surely Rabbitpaw would've told her kit who her father was? He shook his head, clearing the thought away and finished, "I'm your father."

"Oh hai!" Moonkit scrambled to her feet. "I like daddies. They're fun to play with!"

(( XD Wow. I didn't think cats talked that way. ))

"Er... thanks..." Orange mewed nervously. Moonkit had taken the news considerably well. He flicked his tail around Moonkit, trying to get her to pounce on it. "Just remember, no claws."

Wildstar padded out of her den and stretched. She was happy her Clan was doing fine during a leaf-bare like this.

"Yes mr. my daddy!" Moonkit crouched down and wiggled her bottom in the air, waiting to pounce on Orange's tail.

Padding into the Nursery, she spotted Rabbitpaw in her nest, he kit playing with Orange.

"Rabbitpaw, how are you doing?"

Mintblossom walked up to Wildstar, willing to chat. "Hello Wildstar. I have a question to ask."

"Mintblossom." She dipped her head, "Shoot."

[Lawl[iet]]

Frostypaw padded around camp looking for her father. She spotted him lying under a shady oak tree that hung over the elder's den. Was her father getting old? "Dad," she mewed, prodding him gently with her paw.
Dustclaw stirred, and looked up at Frostypaw. "Yes?" he breathed. Dustclaw had been trying to take it easy ever since the fox attack. Those foxes killed Spiritsky, and nearly cost the tom his life. He now had huge scars on his neck, reminding him of that horrible day.
"When am I going to start my training?" Frostypaw mewed.
"I don't know," The tom meowed. "Go talk to Wildstar about it."

Bravesoul yawned and looked around for something to do. He made decided to go visit the kits in the nursery, then go hunting. He went to the nursery poked his head inside. "Hi," he meowed warmly. "Mind if I come in?"

"Of course not!" Moonit squeaked and bounded over to the visitor, "Who are you?"

"When will I get an apprentice, I don't have much to do, and I would love to teach my skills." Mintblossom sat down and waited for her answer.

"Me? I'm Bravesoul. You must be Moonkit. I was supposed to be, well, I am your mother's mentor," Bravesoul explained, squeezing all the way into the nursery.
