Dovefeather trotted into the den, her pretty fur waving in the breeze. She was tired; going on multiple patrols had worn her out. In a few heartbeats the warrior was sound asleep.

Shinepaw got bored of talking to Swallowtail. "Well, bye. Have fun being the deputy."
"Um, thanks?" Swallowtail shrugged. Shinepaw was so weird. She really should be with cats her age, not her little apprentice sister. Swallowtail padded over to where Lightstar and Shadowflame were standing. "Congrats, Lightpo-star," she said, correcting herself, "and hello, Shadowflame."

Tigereyes whispered into Littlepaw's ear, "It can't be long until you become a warrior!" He reached out with his head, hesitated, and licked her ear. His eyes grew worried and round. What had he just done? Would she be okay with that? He had no idea if she liked him as much as he liked her.

Duskpool padded over to where Shadowflame, Lightstar, Swallowtail and Ivypaw were standing. "Hello, Shadowflame, Ivypaw. Congratulations, Lightstar. And you too, Swallowtail," Duskpool dipped his head to the other warriors and his leader.
