"Of course, I can take care of you now, I'm a warrior. See ya Larkwing."

Ivypaw smiled, waved her paw at Larkwing, then padded after Adderclaw.

"So do you want to go East or West?" Adderclaw smiled.

"Let's go... East," Ivypaw replied, then smiled. Finally, alone with Adderclaw!

"Okay," he smiled. I think I might have a little crush on Ivypaw... "When do you think you'll be made a warrior?"

"Probably when Shinepaw does," Ivypaw sighed. She loved Shinepaw like a sister, but she had the feeling that her friend wouldn't become a warrior for a while.

Specklekit was standing at the outer circle listening to the cats meowing to one another about the new Warriors.

((Shinepaw is a little too energetic. Gets distracted really easily, which is holding her back.))

"Swallowtail!" Shinepaw said, pouncing on her older sister's tail. "Can you be my temporary mentor, because I really really really want to be a warrior like Adderclaw and Larkwing. And you," she added hastily, "Like a lot of other cats in the Clan."

((Well, people have had their blind cats be other things here, it's just one of the options. And isn't Lighty right about the PAW thing? I thought she was an apprentice too. But, if not, I'll change her name on the ranks. ))

Specklepaw padded back to the medicine cats den to continue her training and memorizing the herbs.

((And when did she become apprenticed? I was gone for a wile remember ))

Dovefeather padded over to Lightstar. "Would you like me to get a patrol together?"

"Shinepaw, I'm deputy now. Until I get used to the job, I'm not sure if I could train you well. I have other duties to do, like organizing patrols and other stuff." Swallowtail actually sounded apologetic to her younger sister.
"Oh." Shinepaw's tail twitched. "Maybe I'll just mentor myself then." She stalked off.
I should tell Lightstar about this, Swallowtail thought, and bounded off to go find the leader.

"Let's ask Swallowtail, here she comes," she replied to Dovefeather, "What do you need Swallowtail? Oh, and would you mind gathering a patrol?"

Dewwhisker lay in the sun, watching Specklepaw. One day this kit will be our medicine cat, thanks to me. And Lightstar.

((Hey, can Littlepaw be made a warrior? I'd like her name to be Littlestream.))

Smallshadow rested beneath a tree in the forest, his soft and warm gray fur soaking up the sunlight. Cotonfur slept beside him, her breathing deep and a smile on her face. She must be having a good dream, He thought. The tome went back to sleep. Did he have a little crush on the long-haired she-cat?

((Sure, but isn't Smallshadow mates with Dewwhisker?))

Lightstar paused, "Hold that thought, I need to do something before I forget." She leaped up to the highrock and glanced out into her camp.

"May all cats old enought to catch their own prey join here under Highrock for a clan meeting. Today, another apprentice will be joining our ranks as a warrior. Littlepaw, would you please step forward?"

"I, Lightstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. Littlepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your full warrior name. Littlepaw, from this day forward, you will be know as Littlestream." Lightstar bowed down to touch noses with the new apprentice and joined in the chanting of her new name.

"Littlestream! Littlestream!"

((He was, but I never really did anything with Dew, so is it ok if they wern't mates? I'm sorry if I'm totally messing something up here...))

Littlestream padded through the crowd to find Tigereyes. When she found him, the white she-cat held him close and purred with joy. She took in a deep breath and sighed, "I love you." They were the first words she'd ever spoken. The she-cat rubbed her head under the tom's chin and purred to her heart's content, never wanting to part for him.

Swallowtail chanted the new warrior's name with everyone else, and after the ceremony was later, approached Lightstar again. "No, I wouldn't," she replied, "Dovewhisker, can you find maybe one or two warriors to come, and I'll find another two and maybe bring along Shinepaw as well."
