Hearing the chill in his words, the apprentice got defensive. "Aren't I allowed to go wherever I want? It's everyone's woods." Blazepaw flicked her tail. "Besides, a better question is what are you doing here?"

"I'm hunting," Duskpool said coolly, not letting himself be phased by Blazepaw. "But since you're still an apprentice, you should only be outside camp if you're going something useful. AND," he finished, "you never really did answer my question."

Aggravated, her fur rose a little. "Well, if you really want to know, Oh High-And-Mighty-Warrior, I was just taking a little walk. And if you are so useful, then why did you step on that branch and send every piece of prey in this TERRITORY running in the opposite direction?" Blazepaw lashed.

Duskpool lashed his tail, starting to grow angry. "That was an ACCIDENT, Blazepaw. You know what that is, right? Because I'm sure you've made one before," he hissed, almost blinking back tears. Why did this have to happen? He wanted to apologize, but there was no way he could do that now...

[It's Cherrytastic!]

"I'm sure we're all familiar with accidents, considering we're right in the middle of one big fat one right now!" she snarled. Her words came out so much harsher than she meant them to, but in her thick fog of emotions, she couldn't see what she was doing.

Duskpool closed his eyes and didn't say anything. He wanted this to stop. He wanted it all to stop. Slowly, he opened his eyes again to look at Blazepaw, a single tear falling down onto his paw. "I-" he stopped, voice cracking. "I'm sorry. For everything." He looked at her one last time thinking, I can't believe I made you hate me.
Duskpool stood, hesitating. He didn't want to run away again, but this was the most awkward he'd been around anyone, ever. Slowly, he turned tail, making the decision to go. Silently, slowly, he padded away, his tail twitching pathetically.

As the warrior left, Blazepaw found herself crying as well. "I'm sorry, too," she softly meowed. "Sorry that you...loved me..." A sob escaped her. How could anyone love this? This fiery fur? This sharp tongue? This grumbling apprentice, this...monster? Look at what I did to you. I don't deserve to be loved.

Duskpool stopped. He wasn't too far away from Blazepaw; he could tell she was crying, too. That's not what he wanted. Not at all. Warily, he went back.
"Don't cry, Blazepaw, please." He padded up to her and licked the fur between her ears. "I'm not sorry I loved- love you. I'm sorry that it made you hate me," he mewed gently, softly, affectionately.

Blazepaw winced at the gesture of affection and almost moved back, but stopped herself. No need for more pain. Instead, she muzzled him gently and said, "No need to feel bad. Really. It's fine. I just don't always... think." She was running out of things to say. Oh, mouse dung.

(( MISSION: SUNSET is closer to being completed! ))

Duskpool was surprised that Blazepaw actually seemed to care. Surprised, but glad. "Got that right," he mewed jokingly, grinning slightly.
Growing more serious again, he felt awkward. "So..." He scuffed the ground with his paw.

"...yeah." Awkward silence. Again. Oh great, just when everything was getting better. Why do I always run out of things to say? This is going to get awkward. It's already awkward. Fox dung fox dung fox dung why doesn't he say anything? Blazepaw traced a random pattern in the dirt with her claw.

"Blazepaw... since, well..." Duskpool took a deep breath, focused on Blazepaw, and continued. "Since you know how I feel... I think I should know how you feel. About... this..." He'd kept his eyes on Blazepaw the whole time, but now he looked away. Fox dung! Why does this have to be so awkward?!

Saywhat? "How I...feel?" she asked stupidly. Didn't see that coming. Should I be honest? Ah, what do I have to lose, anyway... "To be honest, Duskpool, I don't really know how I feel about this. About you," she meowed quietly.

Duskpool nodded, not surprised by her answer. "It's... fine," he murmured, trying to stay positive. He grinnd half-heartedly and sighed. "We should go back," he , his tail twitching. Figures. Maybe... maybe we can still make it work...?

"Yeah. We should," she meowed. Good. Things are looking up. Blazepaw stood up and began walking back.

Duskpool smiled weakly and walked next to Blazepaw, daring to let their pelts brush occasionally. He wasn't sure how she would react to that, though. He felt a little less awkward, but again, he didn't know how Blazepaw felt. Shyly, he watched her as they went back to camp.

Foxwing opened her eyes to see Fireblaze talking to Illusionsong.
"Hey Fireblaze, can you come talk to me? I'm bored out of my mind," she meowed at him, laying her head on the moss. The wound still tinged a bit and she knew she wouldn't be out of here for a while. Foxwing had a bit of a childish crush on Fireblaze, and was somewhat delighted he was here.

Fireblaze looked up. "Of course," he came over to her and sat down, "How are you feeling?"

((OKAY, WHO NEEDS TO BE PROMOTED TO ANYTHING. LET ME KNOW RIIIIGHT NOW SO I CAN DO A GROUP CEREMONY. I'LL ADD YOU ON IF YOU TELL ME AFTER I POST.))

Mousetail stopped into the forest. See if I care. I'll never come back. No one in that whole dumb clan loves me anyways. "Lionclaw!" She shreiked, approaching the ForestClan border, "Come here, NOW!"

Bumblethorn looked down at the river, pouding with fear. This is my desicion. She edged closer to the side of the cliff. No one will even know I'm gone, not even Lightstar. Stupid Fireblaze is too egotistical, Mousetail is... well, who knows where she is, and that leaves me. It's time for me to go be with daddy. She inhaled sharpley and flung herself off the cliff, into the icy water below her, never to take another breath.
