She put her head down, hoping that this was all a nightmare and she was really still a kit. With her mother licking her soft warm fur. "Why is StarClan tortuing me? Because of them, I have nothing to live for. Does nobody want me alive?" She said to herself. "Goldenheart, look at me. Look at me strait in the eyes! Tell me one cat that want's me alive." She said in a demanding tone. "I bet not even my mother wants me alive. Although, she probabally thinks that I'm already dead." She added to herself.

Goldenheart did look at her, right in the eyes. "I want you alive, Wolfsoul." she said strongly. "No matter what you think, I want you alive."

Wolfsoul looked at Goldenheart with large, admiring eyes. "I wish that I could be more like you, Goldenheart." she started. "Standing up to other cats, always being a friend, and a fierce warrior and hunter too..." Wolfsoul had admired Goldenheart since she had brought her into the clan when she had nowhere else to go. Dawnkit playfully wresteled with her brother Stonekit they tried to get Ghostkit to play even though they knew he wouldn't. But surprizingly he had agreed to so they all played together. Mabe he was changing.

Goldenheart admired Wolfsoul as well. She had been strong when she felt alone, and never gave up. "I will." Goldenheart let Wolfsoul lean on her and they slowly made their way back to camp. "Wolfsoul, I want you to know that I will always be here for you. You can count on me."

Resa was in her Twoleg Garden. Everyday after she had escaped from SmokeClan, she had thought about her daughter, Wolfsoul. Was she still alive after all these years? Little did she know that Wolfsoul was in NightClan now and still wondering if Resa, formally known as Tanpelt from ForestClan, was alive as well. 'Will they ever meet?' Resa wondered.

"Thank you Goldenheart." Wolfsoul said as they padded slowly back to NightClan territory. Although, Wolfsoul was still thinking about what had recently happend with her and StarClan. And especially the dream about her mother. She thought the exact same thing as Resa did: 'Would they ever meet again?'

"Goldenheart." Wolfsoul asked. "Sometime, will you go with me to find my mother? I would know her scent anywhere!" Wolfsoul asked pleadingly. "It would mean the world to me!"
