NightClan RP (Book 4!)

[Golden]

Goldenstar smelled the scent of rain on the wind. She felt a few drops but it wasn't too bad. Then lightning flashed and she stood still, waiting for the thunder. When the rain began to pour, she meowed, "We had better find shelter. We couldn't see a Twolegplace in this storm, anyway. Do you see any caves?" Goldenstar scanned the forest. "I see a large rock that curves up from the ground. We might be able to take cover under it. Should we go look at it?"

((She'll fall asleep when they find shelter and will have a dream that gives them a clue about where to go. Wolfie, what does the place that Silvertooth is in look like?))

Dawnfrost padded out of the warrior den. She saw Snowstorm. "Do you want to go hunting or something?" she asked meekly

[Lawl[iet]]

Waterstep nodded. "You stay outside. I waqnt to make sure it's safe before you go in!" she shouted over the roar of the thunder.

[Golden]

"No. It's my duty to make sure it's safe," the NightClan leader called back. She had to pick up her paws high to get through the mud that now covered the forest floor. When she reached the rock, she saw that the space under it would be perfect for the two cats to rest and wait for the pouring rain to stop. She smelled the air, no sign of badgers and foxes, It was safe. "Come on in!" She yowled into the rain, hoping Waterstep could hear her, wherever she was. Scooting in farther to make room, her paws walked on dry leaves. The rain must be slanting the other way for it to be perfectly dry in here. Goldenstar thought to herself.

[Lawl[iet]]

"I'm coming!" Waterstep yowled. Suddenly, lightning hit a tree, sending it down to earth. Waterstep screamed, and made a dash for the den entrance. She barely made it in, but even worse, the fallen tree was blocking the entrance!

[Golden]

"Waterstep, are you okay?" Goldenstar's voice was scared, no matter what she did to calm it, and the ginger cat was still drenched in water.

[Lawl[iet]]

"Fine," the warrior meowed, her heart beating as fast as she had run. "I'm a little tired, though. I haven't slept since my vigil. Will you wake me when the storm's over?" Without waiting for a responce, Waterstep closed her eyes and fell fast asleep.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

"I'm...fine." Wolfsoul said hesitantly. Being the leader wasn't so bad, but she had a feeling that something interesting was going to happen when Goldenstar was gone.

((Golden, the place is like a log cabin that smells like crowfood to the cats. It should be pretty easy to find because of the scent, but it is hidden deep in a forest somewhere across a thunderpath. So after you cross the thunderpath, just follow your noses! LOL! ;D))

"Of course, Waterstep." Goldenstar whispered. She lay down as well and felt as though she was asleep, but she wasn't. Her breathing slowed and at once she heard the familiar howl. The NightClan cat saw many fallen trees stacked on eachother with monsters zooming by, not too far away. She made notes in her head of everything, from the Thunderpath to the forest. Her eyes opened and she had trouble believing that she hadn't fallen asleep. But she had a sign and that was what really mattered. The rain was slowing but Goldenstar decided to give the new warrior some more time to sleep. She would use the time to think about her "daydream."

Waterstep slept soundly except for when she had a nightmare that the tree had actually fallen on her. She opened her eyes, letting them adjust the the small ammount of light. "Goldenstar?" Waterstep yawned. "How're we gonna get out of here?"

Duskwhisper took a rabbit from the pile and carried it to the medicine cat's den. She set it down by her paws. "Wolfheart? Earthpaw?" The warrior called and then felt that something was odd. She took a deep breath. Earthpaw's scent trail was going out of the den, and Wolfheart's scent wasn't by her! She saw that the medicine cat wasn't in the den. She might be in the camp. Duskwhisper rushed out of the den. "Wolfsoul! Earthpaw's gone!

[Golden]

"The tree doesn't seem huge, we can try to push it. We can also see if we can fit out of that hole," she flicked her tail at a small space where the rock went upward. The tree had fallen straight, not breaking or bending, so the hole was left uncovered.

[silvertooth]

The Nofur stood there with hate in his eyes and snarling yellow teeth. He almost looked as if he was...a wolf himself. But Silvertooth knew that he wasn't. For no wolf would do something like this to a member of their own species. "Your an evil Nofur." she growled at him. Unfortunetly, this only made him angrier and he pulled out his banger. Silvertooth ducked down, hunching her shoulders, showing that she didn't mean it and she definetly didn't want to get shot again. How she managed to survive the last one was a mystery to her. Surprisingly, the Nofur lowered the banger and padded away to the outside again. When he opened the door, Silvertooth saw that it was raining hard. Why did he go outside if it's raining? she thought. Well, it doesn't matter anyway. He's evil and always will be. She looked around the room again and smelled the now oddly familiar scents. Then, the wolf picked up a scent that she had never noticed before. Another familiar scent that seemed to be drilled into her thoughts. "Is that..." she couldn't spit out the words. What had startled her so much was the sight of a dead wolf on the wall. The scent was to familiar to deny. "...mom." she finally spit out of her throat.

((Waterstep is not like a runt but she is small. lol))

I can fit through there," Waterstep mewed. "Once I'm outside, I can see if there's another way out." Waterstep managed to fit through the hole and looked around the outside of the rocks. "Goldenstar!" she called. "There's a small crack right here," Waterstep stuck her tail through the crack to help Goldenstar see where it was. "I need you to help me dig there so you can get out."

[Golden]

((Was the Nofur mad that she had growled, though he didn't know what she was saying? Teeny Waterstep. Lol!))

"I can do that, but I can almost fit through the hole. If we dig right there," she looked at where some small stones and dirt were beside the tree,"I might be able to get out. From here it looks easier. What about from where you are?"

[Lawl[iet]]

"Looks good," Waterstep meowed. "I'm gonna start digging you should be able to get out once we finnish."

[Lawl[iet]]

((Golden has given me permission to powerplay her so she can get out of the rock. ))

"Ok," Goldenstar meowed, and she began digging with Waterstep. After awhile, they stopped digging, seeing that the hole was big enough for Goldenstar to fit through. Goldenstar finally pulled herself out and meowed, "Now, let's go find Silvertooth." Waterstep nodded, and the two of them padded off in the direction of the thunderpath.

((Yes, the Nofur was angry because Silvertooth growled at him. He couldn't understand what she was saying, but he didn't like her growling.))

Wolfsoul looked over at the medicine cat's den where a cat had called her. She padded over to Duskwhisper and heard that Earthpaw was gone. The deputy just looked at the warrior and opened her mouth to get a better scent. The trail was leading past the medicine cat den and...out of camp! She knew that something was going to happen. The she-cat glanced back at Duskwhisper. "Are there any patrols out right now?" Wolfsoul asked the warrior. "If not, then you, Dawnflame and Jetpaw go out on one and see if you can follow your scent trail. If you don't find her then come back and I'll call a clan meeting telling everycat to keep their eyes out for her. All right?" Wolfsoul told Duskwhisper. She didn't really know what she was doing, but she wouldn't let her clan mates know that.

((I just had a wonderful idea! What if when Fogpool and Ghostmask come back and have their kits, a little later Fogpool could kind of teach Earthpaw how to adapt not being able to see! What do you think? ;D))
