Goldenheart watched the evil cat die. Then she looked at Burningsoul's body and a wave of sadness crashed through her. She swung her head around to look at the kits. Nightkit, moonkit, Flamekit, and Burningkit.

Burningsoul's body was in the center of the clearing. It shown with the moon's light. In turn, the NightClan cats stepped over to her and spoke a few words. When it was Goldenheart's turn she whispered, "You were one of NightClan's best warriors. StarClan will recieve you with honor." then she stepped back.

Goldenheart got up when the sun rose. She gave her fur a few quick licks. The camp had been damaged by the badgers and she would start to work on it.

Burningkit looked around the camp and saw the cats morning for her. She wanted to shout to them that they didn't have to that she was still alive but she couldn't. Heatfang had taken Moonkit and Nightkit to other clan already. It broke her heart to see them go.
