"That is all for now. But there will be plenty more for you to do when you are officially my apprentice," Brownfur purred warmly. "You can go sleep now."

[Lawl[iet]]

"Brownfur," Oakwing whispered. "Where are the kits?"

Ghostmask padded through the camp, waving his tail to Heatfang, who was sitting outside the elder's den. The deputy sat down next to him and closed his eyes. The two cats sat in scilence as they warmed their fur with the sun's rays and purred in contentment.

[Golden]

((Petal, was Owlkit in your forms for NightClan cats?))

"I was going to leave them in the hollow tree outside the camp, behind my den by the strong-scented plants, and care for them. But Streamshimmer found them and asked me what to do. I said that she shouldn't tell anyone where they came from in case they got thrown out. So she's saying that they're hers. Even she doesn't know the truth. Owlkit and Wetkit, she's named them." Brownfur's sentences were short. She was trying to control the sadness in her voice as she whispered to Oakwing what happened.

Wolfstar jumped on the Highrock and sat down. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a Clan meeting." she yowled.

Dewwing padded and sat down under the Highrock.

Fogpool heard Wolfstar and felt for her daughter's heartbeat. When she located it, she ran up to Dewwing and sat down next to her.

((Oh, I almost forgot! I've got a couple cats already, so if you want to play him you can.))

Oakwing sighed a little, then looked his mate in the eyes. "I'm so sorry," he mewed. "They'll never know what great cats their mother and father were."

((Maybe once Brownfur and Oakwing die, and their kits are warriors, Brown and Oak tell them the truth.))

Mistycloud sat under the rock and saw her two kits rest with their new apprentice friends.

[Golden]

((I have so many cats already... but you can make a thread in the Adoption board if you want! Sorry! What do you mean, Lighty?))

Brownfur looked away. "I'll be in the clearing once I see to Streamshimmer." She murmured.

((And, okay, Petal!))

((I don't know how to do these kind of ceremonies, so just bear with me.))

"Brownfur has gotten a sign from StarClan." Wolfstar started out. "We assume that it means Foxpaw should be the new medicine cat apprentice. Foxpaw, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?" Wolfstar waited for the apprentice's answer.

[Lawl[iet]]

((Ok! I'll go set up a form now. )

Ghostmask looked up at his leader with admiration. That'd be him up there one day...

"Dad," Gorsebranch whispered, flicking his father on the nose with his tail. "Dad! Pay attention."

Ghostmask broke away from his daydream and turned to his son. "Hm?" he mewed. "What was that?"

"You need to know this stuff," Gorsebranch mewed back. "You'll be the leader one day." The black and white warrior smiled at his father. "How are you gonna be NightClan's leader if you don't know how to perform cerimonies?"

Ghostmask blinked in admiration at his son. Such knowledge! He thought. He's changed so much. The NightClan deputy smiled back at his son and meowed, "You're right." Ghostmask turned his attention back to Wolfstar, but whispered one last thing to Gorsebranch. "I'd pick you as my deputy if I could," he purred.

Gorsebranch became warm inside, and enjoyed the feeling until a cold leaf-bare breeze ruffled his fur. Maybe he'd ask Ghostmask, Dewwing, and Fogpool if they all wanted to hunt as a family again. He knew Thrushstripe's spirit would pad through the woods beside them.

((D'aww! Cute little Father-Son moment. ))

((Aww, that was cute! Too bad Wolfstar will be dying sometime this month. It has already been about three months! Only about a half a month left... ))

"Yes it is," Foxpaw meowed bravley.

((Never mind. xD))

"Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. He has chosen the life of medicine cat. Grant him your wisdom and insight so that he may understand your ways and heal his Clan in accordance to your will." Wolfstar said to Silverpelt. "Please allow him to be changed from apprentice to medicine cat apprentice." She looked at Brownfur. "I trust that you teach Foxpaw all that you know about healing our fellow Clanmates."

((You said Brownpaw. Just letting you know.))

"Thank you so much Wolfstar!" Foxpaw bowed his head and jumped off the high rock.

[Golden]

Brownfur nodded, beaming. She stuck out her head slightly and touched her nose to Foxpaw's. "I'll show you where you sleep tonight. Tomorrow we'll start training," She whispered, her eyes bright.

((I made Badger's form. But I'd like another reason for him to be angry at the Clan and Wolfstar. He has... issues. xD So I was thinking that Flameriver, his mentor, could ask Wolfstar about him being a warrior but Wolfstar says that she doesn't think he's quite good enough yet. Would that be okay?))

[~*WOLFIE*~]

((I fixed it, Lighty. And yeah, that's fine! But now it's my turn to ask you a question. Wolfstar has been dreaming about Moss, right? Well she wants to go and find her before she dies. So I was going to have her speak to Ghostmask immediately after Foxpaw was the medicine cat apprentice and tell him that she would be gone for a few days. But that few days will only be like 2 "real" days for Wolfstar to be away from NightClan.))

[Golden]

((Wait, are you asking Petal or me something? It sounded like me, but I'm not sure. But I like your idea!))

"Wolfstar, can I speak to you about Badgerpaw?" Flameriver asked the NightClan leader quietly so that no other cat could hear.

[~*WOLFIE*~]

((I was asking you, Golden. )

"Of course, Flameriver." Wolfstar replied to the warrior.

[Golden]

((Well, it sounds good. ))

"Badgerpaw's been training very hard and I think he's ready to be a warrior. Do you agree?" Flameriver sat down on a clump of grass as he spoke.
