LIGHTSTAR-- Dark brown tabby with cream underbelly and all fours, olive green eyes.

SWALLOWTAIL--Light brown she-cat with chocolate brown eyes.



M E D I C I N E C A T:

FISHTAIL-- Silver tabby with smokey gray eyes, and a small sliver of blue in the left eye.

W A R R I O R S : (toms and she-cats without kits)

FIREBLAZE--Deep red with cream colored paws with olive green eyes.

MOUSETAIL--Pure white with one green eye and one gold eye.

LEAFDAPPLE--Short haired tortioseshell with pale green eyes.

DUSKPOOL--His head, back and shoulders are orangish with some lighter cream and darker brown. His belly, tail, and legs are dark brownish to black. He has amber eyes.

FOXWING--Bright red with a few black stripes accenting her face. She has a pure white muzzle and her front right paw is also white. Purple eyes.

SHADOWFLAME-- A silver she-cat with a white crescent moon on her forehead.

SMALLSHADOW-- A fluffy light gray tom with gray eyes and dark gray paws.

COTTONFUR--Has long, soft, white fur and vivid violet colored eyes.

BROKENMASK--Short haired black and white tom with light, sparkiling sapphire blue eyes. He has a scar on his ear, muzzle and back leg.

LITTLESTREAM--A small white she-cat with gray-blue eyes.

LARKWING--Brown pelt with red stocking on back left foot and red right ear.

SHINEPOOL-- Grey she-cat with bright blue eyes and a black-tipped tail


APPRENTICES:

SPOTTEDPAW--She is a light dusty brown color, with darker brown tabby markings. She has a white strip on her nose, and a white chest and underbelly. Her ears are tipped in the same color as her markings, along with her tail. Her toes are white, but her hind left paw is more of a 'sock'. On her left side, she has a dot of ginger on her flank. Her long fur is thick and soft. Her eyes are golden, tinted with a earthy, lime green.

IVYPAW--Dark tabby she-cat with amber eyes and unusually large claws.

BLAZEPAW--A bright-ginger she-cat with amber eyes with gold flecks. She has one white sock and a white blaze on her forehead.

Redmask smiled and lick her muzzle,"No, I'm only here the get you to come back to SmokeClan. Your sister is fine, I just talked to Bumblethorn, I haven't seen Adderclaw. I've been good. And I can't come back as myself, I had to come backas Mudcoat. No you can't tell anyone I'm here. Don't shut up, I like the sound of your voice." Mudcoat whispered and nuzzled Lightstar, "No, I'm not hungry."

"You mean you're not staying?" Lightstar's tone of joy faded into sadness. "But you have to stay! I'm losing everything close to me, I can't lose you again. I just can't do it without you." Tears began streaming down her cheeks. Her whiskers sagged from the the weight of the droplets and dripped a clear, thin stream onto the dry earth. "You have to stay with me," she whispered, nuzzling his cheek, "You can't leave me again."

Redmask's heart was breaking, but this time it was three times the pain, "I know, love, I'm sorry. But I have to go back, that was one of the rules." The tom whispered in defeat as he nuzzled his mate lovingly. Redmask really didn't want to leave Lightstar again, but it was he duty to get her to go back to SmokeClan. And from then on he would only be able to watch her from StarClan.

"But will you stay for now?" Lightstar was sobbing, "You have to try to work something out with Goldenstar! I won't go back if you don't come with me! Please Red- errr, Mudcoat, you have to! I need you more then creatures need air, please, please try." She fell to the ground over-ridden with sadness.

Mudcoat sighed, "I don't know. I can't leave unless you come back to SmokeClan. I'm not sure Godlenstar would bend the rules just for me, it wouldn't be fair. I'll stay for now since you haven't gone back to SmokeClan I have to." Redmask in Mudcoat's body sighed his eyes full of worry, he didn't want to leave her but he had to. Okay he really wanted to stay, but rules are rules, right? Yes of course the were, but did love rank over rules?

"Okay," Lightstar had identical thoughts to Redmask's running through her head. Does love mean more than the laws of StarClan to her? No cat's ever tried to come back from StarClan before, so why shouldn't Redmask be able to start something new? I mean, his life wasn't supposed to be taken, if it was, he wouldn't be here right now.

Redmask smiled at Lightstar, "I'll try to stay as lon as I can." He promised before looking around at the forest, " Hey are you hungry?" he asked quietly staring at the Clan leader's face for any signs of hunger. He was mad that he couldn't stay, but he had promised Goldenstar, and he never broke his promises. In Star Clan not a day went by that he wished he was in SmokeClan with Lightstar and now he was, but he didn't get to be there forever, it just wasn't the same as is hopes on so many levels.

"No," Lightstar mumbled. "But our fresh-kill pile is a little low. We might as well bring some back. And then, Mudcoat, I will announce you as a temporary visitor to our clan." She began stalking two mice hiding in the underbrush chewing away at little berries. With a swift leap and swipe, the lives of the creatures had been taken and meals were made. She buried it under the cool earth and searched for more food.

Mudcoat nodded, "I don't know if we have that long." he whispered looking at Lightstar, " I might have to be taken back as you as you return to SmokeClan. Don't be upset." Mudcoat mewed watching Lightstar. He didn't want her to be sad, but he had to go it just wouldn't be fair to all of the other cats in StarClan. And too he told GOldenstar he would be back as soon as Lightstar get back to SmokeClan.

Foxwing staggered from her little pile of moss, determined to return to her Warrior Duties. Taking a deep breath she padded into the cold of the morning air, limping she grabbed a piece of fresh-kill, sat down and began to chew.

"I'll leave again if Goldenstar doesn't let you stay for three sun-highs. After that," Lightstar paused, sighing, "You're free to go. I'm just a cat, I can't affect Goldenstar's decision. I love you very much, but you're here for a reason. I need you to take care of Bumblethorn in StarClan. She's always been sensitive." She grabbed her catch, three mice and two voles, and padded slowly towards camp.

Littlestream sat in her bed and sighed. It had been moons since her mate, Tigereyes, had died. However, at the time of his death she hadn't learned that she was having his kits. It had been just the other day when she realized that she should soon move to the nursery.

Mudcoat let out a small wine as Lightstar padded away. He came to his senses soon enough to bound after her, "Wait." He called catching up to the Clan Leader and giving her a small, sad smile. "I could try to stay. . ." Mudcoat whispered watching Lightstar, "So, if I get three sun-highs you'll stay, but if Goldenstar takes me back you'll go again so I'll have to come back." Redmask murmmered thinking it over, "Okay, I'll stay." The tom concluded.

Foxwing saw Fireblaze and her heart skipped a beat. She padded over toward him, bending over toward her injured side. Every step pained her, but she forced herself on. Illusionsong will have my head... Foxwing thought, imagining the medicine cat flipping out that she was out of the nest. Hey, every sick person needs some fresh air...she can't keep me trapped in that den forever... Foxwing though, reassuring herself.
"Hey Fireblaze," she meowed coolly. "How are you?"

((Okay so, I completely forgot I held the temporary medicine cat position. Seeing as it's been more than temporary, I'll play it as need be. If anyone could PM me the plot and such, that would be great. Thanks guys. ))

Fishtail threw his head up out of aggravation. His old age was getting to be too much for the told tom. A loud, wheezing sigh knocked the breathe out of his chest. His stumbling legs helped him arise to see the normally radiant sun hardly glinting through the usual thick fog. The Clan was stirring as he peered around waiting to be called for any sort of duty that might be worth his time. Nothing came to mind and no cat's scent that should alarm him filled the fog bound air. His muffled breathes came out in huffs as he headed to the back of his den sorting herbs. The sticky air of the farthest place in the den made his breathes shorter. His heart was racing as he sat to the dusty ground and whispered,
"There's got to be some cat willing to take my place once I've left for StarClan."

((Boring, yes. But until I get the plot I'm afraid this is all I can do ))

Smallshadow padded into the medicine cat den. "Fishtail?" he meowed. "Can you come and see how Littlestream's doing? She might have her kits soon."

[{SILENT} is ~*FREE*~]

Fishtail shut his gray eyes and let out a soft grunt. "Yes I'll be right there. Just show me to where she is." He flicked his tail to the entrance. He was unhappy to leave the warm comfort of his den, and knew if he didn't retire soon that he'd be making mistakes with his Clan and nothing good could ever come from that. He slid a smile on his face and turned to the cat.

[Lawl[iet]]

"She's in the nursery now," Smallshadow meowed, leading the medicine cat to the place where his sister was. "Littlestream?" He purred, parting the ferns at the entrance and slipping into the nursery. "I've brought Fishtail to look you over and make sure everything's okay."

Littlestream purred her thanks and waited for the medicine cat.

((Foxwing was shot and is still recovering, Littlestream's about to have kits, Lightstar left, but Goldenstar reincarnated Redmask, her mate as Mudcoat to bring her back to SmokeClan. She's coming back now. Shinepool's going to have five kits soon [see the allegiance of five in the plot boards] which will grow up to save the forest. Some will live in ForestClan, others in SmokeClan. Who are you going to take as an apprentice?))

"Good." Lightstar was happy, but had no energy to show it. "Let's head back then and I'll announce that you're here." She bounded back through the entrance to camp and up onto High Rock, letting out a yowl that summoned her clan to the ground beneath her. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own pray join for a clan meeting." She paused to let a crowd gather. "Mudcoat is going to be staying with us for a few days before he heads home. His traveled a very long distance to save me, and now that he has, I'm granting her permission of staying as long as he wants. He must go in three days, or he can never return to SmokeClan or his home. Be nice to him, and make him feel at home. Thank you."

Mudcoat smiled at Lightstar,"Thank you, Lightstar. It is good to be in a clan." He said choosing his words very carefully one wrong word and everyone would know he wasn't who he claimed to be. And no one wanted that, if they did they were just odd. Mudcoat padded up to Lightstar, "Thanks again, I'll see how long I can stay." He whispered so only she could her, "I don't want to leave you again." Mudcoat murmmered looking at the clan leader.
